Those who have been admitted…are you planning on living on campus/student housing or off campus? I have read about apartments for transfer students but was wondering if anyone else has been looking into these? I’m 20 so I don’t want to live with freshmen lol

The engineering guys missing pre-reqs… did you have the remaining pre-reqs scheduled for spring or were you just not doing them at all?

@gawdzillah

I received the acceptance letter and admit packet today. It feels good!

I got the acceptance letter (traditional) letter. The booklet is not very fancy, didn;t really show the beauty of UCSB
but I like the envelope haha

@cayton and @randombookie
were you both in the first wave?
I was and haven’t gotten anything :(

Hopefully soon.

@AnthroFlo

I believe I was.

That’s good to hear, hope I get mine soon. I’m pretty sure I was accepted in the first batch.

SB would be dope if they had better medical marijuana dispensaries around. Pun intended.

@AnthroFlo, yeah I was lucky, I got it the first day they started doing it. They didn’t send any email and it’s been over a week. So maybe keep checking. Good luck:)

Rejected! :(

Major: Mechanical Engineering
GPA: 3.70

Missing Linear Algebra and Chemistry…

Dude, @Zalrons, there’s an actual store in Goleta. I haven’t been there, but I might check it out next week when I visit. I’m renewing this week. But nothing like Harborside. They have the best sticky.

Got my admissions “packet” yesterday in the mail as well. It’s pretty small though… just the official acceptance letter, a little sheet for the transfer summer session and pretty much a short admissions pamphlet telling you how good the school is and stuff. I was accepted on the first day, 3/17/14.

To those that have already been admitted, what is the first alphabet to your last name??? My decision is pending and I’m wondering WHYYYYYYYYYy :(

@WhiteTiger84

Mine starts with a J, and I was admitted in the first batch. I don’t think last name has anything to do with it. Just stay patient, if you look at last years thread plenty of people got admitted all throughout April.

Anyone have an idea at what times do they update the site (and the frequency)? I’m getting tired of checking UCSB 5 times a day^^

Congrats to those that got in.

I think every weekday at around 5pm PDT.

@WhiteTiger84

My last name starts with a Z and get admitted in the first batch… So definitely it has nothing to do with alphabeta

Accepted on Monday March 24
