[<em>] ECs listed on app: pretty lame. some volunteering at church, math club, I barely managed to fill up all the slots.

[<em>] Essays (subject and responses): zoom in/zoom out. I wrote about people’s grandpas. Then my interviewer asked me to tell him about my essay, and it occured to me that it was very hard to explain. But he thought the part I told him was interesting, and said it was just like the election, which had not occured to me and still doesn’t make all that much sense. Oh well. I did the optional essay too, on how a book influenced a decision I made, etc.
