This thread needs to be made a sticky. There are too many acceptance threads and some even posting in 2013 acceptance thread which is a sticky instead of 2015.

^ I agree. We already have two “official” 2015’s and this one is the biggest.

My S got an email inviting him to apply for honors. It came a few days after his acceptance email.

Has anyone got an acceptance that didn’t apply EA?

^ I called again trying to find out when we might here for Regular Decision and again was told there will be absolutely no decisions coming till April! I still can’t believe that’s true, but I’m afraid it may be
My daughter is sending out apps to other colleges since we won’t know till it could be too late for other schools. Very frustrating. I wish they would not have told us they did rolling decisions. We would have handled things differently had they been honost.

quick question: on wolverine access, if you’ve been deferred, does it show that? Or will it look the same as it did before you got the email of defferal

I doesn’t show that you’re deferred. It looks the same.

@jorobamama

I called not a week ago and the lady explicitly told me it was rolling decisions. I asked “For students who did not apply EA is it rolling decision?” and she said “Yes, we are on rolling admissions”

My S’s mail notification of acceptance just arrived today. The letter was dated 12/17/10 and the postmark was 12/20/10. The notification must have gotten mis-sorted or lost for the past 3 weeks. The condition of the envelope looks “well-traveled”…

Jshain, was that an EA or RD acceptance? Congrats by the way.

^EA acceptance-- and thanks!

Schs1^ Are you waiting on a RD also? It would be nice to have someone else to talk to!

Do you remember the name of who you spoke to there? I wish I could get one consistant answer! I have talked with 4 different people in admissions, two said it was still rolling, and the other two said they were not doing rolling this year despite their application and webpage indicating the were. I spoke with a 5th person who originally said it would be rolling, but when I explained that others were telling me they were not going to do rolling, she said, “Oh, hang on, I’ll double check.” When she came back on the phone she said, “You are right, they are eliminating rolling this year and noone will hear till April.”

It is especially hard for my D to wait. Both she and her bf did “rolling” decision at U of M because they were doing ED at Northwestern and we thought they could not do EA at U of M. Her bf got placed in the EA applications by mistake and found out with the other EA kids that he was in fact accepted. She is so anxious!

If you hear of anyone RD getting a decision please let me know! Patience is not my virtue! Haha!
