[/ul]: I was afraid at first that the decisions weren’t going to come until April. Many of the peers in my class put their apps in for early action and had gotten their acceptances back, so I was a little anxious. But no big worries.</p>
<p>An acquaintance of mine just got accepted to UMich. He goes to a public school which doesn’t offer a rigorous curriculum. He doesn’t have lot of ECs and I doubt he has a good SAT score. It makes me really jealous to see him accepted while I got deferred at EA.</p>
<p>^Your situation is basically the same of most qualified EA applicants. I believe UM tried to test something new during this EA. Hopefully, they will be back to the ‘normal recipe’ on RD.</p>

First I got an email saying that I got into LSA. When I checked my U-M account, there was a decision button and when I clicked it, it said “congradulation you have been accepted blah blah blah…”
Does this mean I got officially accepted?</p>
