I’m sure it’s all been said before, so I’ll just say I’m happy I got in and I wish everybody here the best of luck.
For anybody who’s curious about notification dates, I got an e-mail about the decision on February 4th, 2011.
Life hack: If you apply to another UMich campus (Dearborn or Flint) first, you will get a fee waiver for your Ann Arbor application regardless of financial need. I haven’t confirmed this with any other applicants, though, so no guarantees.

@OMGMIT thanks for replying. I was actually wondering cause someone told me that this may be fake and the universities method of attracting students.
But anyways thanks a lot :D

I just got off the phone with University of Michigan admissions. Appearantly, my file is under review now. :)

What did you ask them? Did you ask, “Is my file under review?” :P

i wanna know now as well!!!

You can’t believe how much information people can give you when you ask. :)

so what did you ask them exactly…

“Is my application under review?”

i just called them up as well and they said my file is under review as well! but the guy said we can receive our decision anytime between now and mid-april so…yeah

I imagine all files are under review right now, aside from those who have received definitive answers already. 30,000+ applicants could take awhile …

I don’t think that they consider every file which doesn’t have a definitive answer is under-review. If that was the case, they would have said something like “you file will be reviewed”. At least, I hope this is the case. :)

hope for the best, be ready for the worst.

Good luck to you both!
