<p>i was in the same situation but i called them the last day before their office went on a break. the lady told me that nothing will be put on WA and that they want all of us to receive our decision thru mail. </p>
<p>Theres a mom from shanghai who told me that her son was in the same situation but later received a deferral letter. i received my deferral letter two days after that. </p>
<p>im REEALLLLYY not sure wat is up with urs guys decision. since acceptance definitely comes by email first, mail second, and they normally dont hold back on telling u the good news.</p>
<p>i heard that their office dont notice u even if they’re missing something thats holding ur app back (SAT score, toefl score, transcript, recs)…they just dont tell u. so…i think u better call. best of luck</p>
<p>actually they did notice that my payment got screwed up, so i had to send another check once my app got there. that is why personally i think it’s taking so long for me to here from them because they probably just put my app on the bottom of the pile until the payment came. well maybe today i will hear you never know.</p>
<p>of course they will notice you about your payment being screwed up, you know, they want money.</p>

<p>thanks, since there is no mail today i should hear by saturday at the latest. it looks like i will probably get deferred too, but you never know, and if i do just have to get my best grades possible throughout the rest of the year. good luck to you in the rest of the school year.
also just wondering does anyone know if you get deferred does it mean a better chance for a rejection letter later or what?</p>

<p>I just recieved a letter in the mail last week from the financial aid office that said I had been awarded a 10k/yr scholarship from the special scholarship fund or something like that, I don’t really remember. I was just ecstatic to get one. But I got my decision just before thanksgiving so it was like a month or so later before I got the scholarship.</p>
<p>Zfanatic had you already submitted financial aid forms before you got the scolarship notification and what were your stats</p>
<p>I submitted CSS Profile a while back, but my family won’t qualify for much calculated need. We need it, but I don’t think we’ll get it.</p>

<p>Besides mail, I highly doubt that Michigan would release any decisions during the holiday break. Most schools are shut down during that time. You would have to wait until next week for new decisions. </p>

<p>i agree, i don’t think anyone got denied. i have a 28 act, 3.33 uw 4.0 w gpa but got deferred (letter 1).
one question, i thought u had to have all items in before the due date to be part of ER? my transcript did not come in till well after the deadline, but i had everything else in before, and i think i was part of ER since i got my letter on friday.</p>
