^ Jeez. You gonna have time to breathe with that senior year schedule?

I am so screwed. I go to a public magnet school that caps the number of APs during the day for mental health’s sake. I’m taking 3 in school and studying 2 after hours.
This year:
Band
Calc AB double period
APUSH(grr)
AP Language
GT physics
Digital Electronics PLTW
Environmental Science
Senior year(Ayy 11)
Calc BC
Physics at local CC
AP Chem
AP English Comp
Health(graduation requirement)
AP MicroEconomics
Aerospace Engineering
Introduction to Engineering Design
Engineering Capstone(magnet capstone thing)

Even though I’m taking a lot of classes required for graduation next year, something tells me, senior year will be more complicated than the rest of high school combined.

^ Out of all those classes you listed, my school only offers 3 of them! Calculus, AP English, and Physics! I wish they had all of those engineering classes here. My school only has 3 AP’s - Calc, English, and Biology - that’s it. No Honors, no engineering, no APUSH (whatever the hell that is), and none of those other cool-sounding courses.

Bayhawk, how big is your student body?

Wow how do you guys take so many classes…? The max at my school is 7!

@ Wartsandall: What’s an online school like? haha I’ve never heard of one o.O

I have that exact same feeling. I could graduate early, all I’m missing is PE, but it seems almost inevitable that senior year is going to turn out to be hectic.

You have enough English and history classes to graduate?

^^Do you have any specific questions?

I used to be class of 2010. Now I’m class of 2011 due to certain unfortunate events.

wazupppp?!

Im taking a gap year to volunteer in Africa (Cameroon) and also learn 2 new songs on my viola for my music supplement next fall. Im also taking several online classes (AP Calc AB!), learning Mandarin, and aiming for above 750 on my math 2 and biology SAT II next june and self-studying AP bio. 2010 is the year

No they sent me an (unsolicited) application. I tried to look online for what that might mean for my PSAT score (which I haven’t gotten) because the program has a 9% acceptance rate–very difficult to get in–and it’s free. The only thing I could find was an old thread here about it that said they sent letters to those scoring at or above the 99.5 Percentile of your state. The lowest score of anyone who posted that they got one was a 211. Even a 200 would bring me great joy and happiness. =)

gee i wish my school had engineering courses!
@warts. yeah, 3 sciences murder, i know hahaha, but if my school gets AP BIO next year i’ll take that instead of AP CHEM

You might want to think about that. Are you interested in science?

I’m taking an ungodly number of math, science, and engineering courses next year–but I have problems lol Maybe I’ll post my schedule again later to stroke my ego.

I think I will apply to TASP–even though I have like no chance.

@ Wartsandall: I mean, do you just sit at home all day…? XD

Good luck with TASP! I was thinking of applying, but I’m probably just not going to even try…

Haha, yes, I do. However, we have clubs, ellumination lessons, and other activities that enabled me to converse with other people in my classes.

whats up all.

i got a TASP letter/application too… might apply for the heck of it, and get some college essay practice too. and who knows, if i get accepted it sounds great.

i get my december sat’s back tuesday… the wait’s killing me

Aiginif if you get a TASP letter- you either made NMSF or NASF.

What’d you get on the PSAT? We haven’t gotten our scores back and I’m trying to gauge how I did.

230 here, kinda disappointed because of stupid mistakes.

Also, BTW. I got my first driving lesson today! The difference between a brake and accelerator.I’m stoked!

i imagine myself driving up to the high school in my dad’s red car-( he’s donating it to me. I’m going to paint a racing blue stripe on it.) at the end of junior year. I look at my friends- “you going somewhere?” I ask. “get in.”
I cruise off after all my nerdy friends stare in awe. I was going to be wearing sunglasses but unfortunately, My eyesight is so badI need to drive with glasses. Fail!

If I got a 200, I’m going to hug random people =)
