Does anyone know the name of the “determined” writer who transformed her reputation? I loved the passage!

@College 550: Zora Neale Hurston

Was urbane one of the SC for the zora thing? I don’t remember which passages were experimental :(

@f1y: yay! Me too. Thank you for confirmation.

@smooch: Great, thanks.

@purp: I debated for a second between verve and fortitude but settled on verve because it seemed more appropriate. The one about different opinions related to her generosity thus many friends but also stubborness so some inevitable enemies as well, something like that.

does ANYONE know which section was the math experimental :C

@Audacities: I got patrician also, thank you for confirmation; also, do you remember the one on plate tectonics that was about nuances?

@curry

oh… there’s one about something appropriate…

nuances - explain the nature of the plates’ actions?

question was like: why are the nuances appropriate?

does anyone remember the questions for tectus and nuance or the other answers?

Yep, curry, I said it was to explain how the plates worked like smooch. :)

what was the tone of the author for the geology text book on tectonic plates
i put caustic and then i switched to breezy

Did anyone NOT get the passages about animal land conservation?

animal land conservation? was that the one about passage 1: prefers linkage of small strips of lands passage 2: waste of conservation funds

does anyone remember the questions for tectus and nuance or the other answers?

i also put breezy!

was animal land experimental?
one answer was that it was not smart to waste funds in Southern california then

I also decided on breezy after a lot of debate, smooch.

f1y, I also did. Wasn’t it about conservation of southern California and strips of land connecting urban centers?

@Smooch and @Audacities. Yep D: I was so hoping that section to be the experimental one >.<

so… what was the experimental reading?

For the conservation set of problems, there was definitely one answer that was like… A) disbelief because __ b) disagree because ____ etc. (it wasn’t in that order but hopefully someone else remembers the actual answers). Wasn’t there also an answer that was “critical” somewhere? :0

I forgot what the 5/21 question was.
can anyone briefly go over the question?
