exciting does not necessarily have to be happy. i think jubilant is way too positive for the context. there were too specific words that made me change my answer from jubilant to agitated but i forgot what they were…

yeah, where is 4.8 from?
i remember getting an answer like that but mine wasn’t 4.8 for sure lol…

In my opinion Eliza was petrified to be honest, she was like what is your mother gonna say in a negative context and I feel she repeatedly kept asking because from the earlier lines in that passage we can infer that the girl and mother do not get along

so the math answer for subset was 2,4,9? not 2,4, 14? :((((( what you guys think the curve will be for -2?

2,4,9 doesn’t make sense anyways

yeah all the numbers in (2,4,14) isn’t divisible by 3… this question is such BS… so is the a=2 b =3 one… ■■■■…

hi,

what was the answer in the tectonic plates passage where the guy made like a proposed theory or something like that. was it because it was futuristic or something like that?

so the section with the set A and B was not experimental? ■■■.

I think I put the right answer, but I don’t understand that question. someone please explain. genuinely curious…

I’m sleeping. We shall debate again tomorrow!

umm i put (2, 4, 9) b/c set B are integers that 36 is divisible by and 14 is def. not

wait can someone that can recall all the sentence completions post them up?

thanks!

@ dodges
visionary? pretty sure that was correct.

@ dodges
For the visionary question I put that his theory foreshadowed later scientific discoveries

The question is something like… set A contains numbers divisible by 3
set B contains factors of 36

which of the following is a subset of B, but not A
what i did was… i immediately crossed out everything that has a number divisible by 3.(including {2,4,9})…and i had {2,4,14?} left… and i just chose that one without further thinking about it… although it’s not a factor…may be there’s something wrong with the question… or may be there’s another choice that u guys didn’t mention…or may be it’s not {2,4,14} but something else

but {2,4,9} is soooooo wrong

^ crap… i think i put heralded other discoveries or osmething… ■■■ was the tone for the passage breezy?

@sattooeasy

there’re two choices…
one is herald other discoveries ← i chose this… and i think hppylwmon was talking about that too
one is predict future movements

wait wasn’t the answer for the visionary thing like a theory proposed using resources or something like that. also what did everyone put for “tricky” i put difficult but i feel like it might have been haphazard

{2,4,9} works because although 9 belongs to A b/c it’s a multiple of 3, 2&4 don’t belong so the subset doesn’t belong. And 14 isn’t a factor of 36.

i put difficult because it referred to the task as fractitious
for the visionary one, i put combined resources from different fields together
since it talked about how he was compiling research about glacier deposits, and w/e at the beginning of the paragraph

Do SAT’s normally have 4 critical reading sections? I thought there were only 3.
