Seriously…how many times do i have to ask to get an answer. Did all of you have an experimental CR or something?

and why did u add atavism to the list futball? people are only saying that because they didn’t know what it meant, put it, went back home to check the definition on dictionary.com, then came up with some convulted reason as to why that was the answer. its clearly fanaticism.

Positive italicized: unexpected way
does anyone remember the question for that one? and the answer choices?

Gift for: suitability
also what question was this one?

@tenis, positive italicized was “why did the author italize the word positive in the sentence” or something when he was describing how postiive campaigning is always good. the answer was it implies that positive is being used in an unexpected way or something

the second question was asking what zora had a ____ for friendship or something. another answer choice was capacity i believe

i got capacity for what zora had a _____ for friendship
and do you remember the other choices for the “positive is being used an in unexpected way”

also i agree. it was clearly fanaticism

@tenis, did you have an experimental CR? if not, did you get the marriage passage?

I’m pretty sure Zora had a suitability for friendship. The story described her as being full of verve, clearly suitable for friendship. Capacity doesn’t make much sense unfortunately.

And I do not, sorry. I feel that you probably got it right, just forgot about the question as it was a fairly straightforward question.

thanks ddd2012

I did have an experimental CR. and i did get the marriage one. the one that i got for experimental talked about individuals changing their opinions when part of a group. and there also was a small passage that began with “Summer 1854. (Girl) had no yet broken up with (boy)” or something along the lines of that
i’m assuming it was experiemental because no one has even mentioned that section

Thanks tenis. Is there anyone else who did not have an experimental and did not have the Summer 1854 passage?

^ rest of these SC questions are probably really easy.

@ddd
wait so the passage with the Summer 1854, with the section about individuals and a larger group wasn’t experimental?? did you have that same section?

also, if you’re good at math, sorry to bring it up again but what did you say for the if a=2, b=3 question

also 16)Support a previous claim.

which question was that? wasnt that a question with the small passage about caves?

and for hte marriage passage there was also a question about what the girl saw in the boys paintings
did anyone get abstract and evocative?

I put III only for the math question. If it adds any credibility, I’ve gotten an 800 the two times I’ve taken the SAT so far. IDK if it’s experimental. People have been talking about it it seems. And I don’t remember where it was from, I just remember putting it XD. I remember there was another tricky answer choice in that question though, and I almost put it. Sorry that wasn’t much help.

which SC q was obtrusive. Don’t remember that one. Also, I think its capacity, simply because a gift for friendship implies a talent… Talent = ability = capacity. Suitability just doesn’t seem to fit that well. Otherwise, I agree with all other answers on the consolidated list.

can someone answer the question about what the girl saw in the boys paintings
did anyone get abstract and evocative?

complex and something

What did other people get for Zora passage suitability/capacity? The reason I think it says capacity is if you read after, it talks about her positives and negatives for friendship. A link was posted earlier, and here it is: [Amazon.com: Zora Neale Hurston: A Life in Letters (9780385490368): Carla Kaplan: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Zora-Neale-Hurston-Life-Letters/dp/0385490364#reader_0385490364)

thanks dchen

also if anyone had the cave short passage for reading. the question about “what does lines 2-3 do” i picked to connect two ideas. is that completely wrong…

@tenis what question is this

it was a small passage and there was 2 questions. the first question referred to lines 2 and 3 and the choices were like : to connect two ideas, to support a previous claim
the second question was. were it true, which statement would qualify “person’s” argument
