Official USC 2012 Transfer Thread

I had a blank space in my USConnect until I clicked a link to an enrollment deposit.

I received my enrollment packet like two weeks ago as well. But wasn’t able to enroll until today so maybe your in a similar situation?

@Miggaletoe, “But wasn’t able to enroll until today so maybe your in a similar situation?”

What, exactly, do you mean by that?

I didn’t see the enrollment box until today. It was blank and then I clicked on Ngarcias link and it let me enroll.

I received my acceptance in the mail 2 weeks ago but couldn’t enroll online until today.

still no mail today (>.<)

@miggaletoe
Same, accepted on the 18th. But wasn’t allowed to enroll until yesterday.

Sent my grades in on Tuesday for SGR… hope i hear back soon… anyone else with an SGR hear back yet?

hi i got a question for people who got an enrollment box today. Can you guys login to OASIS? I still can’t

I was curious on the appeal process for transfers so I emailed my counselor and she said there is none…lol

How to appeal?

@miggletoe:
could u post the link? did u have three boxes too at the time and did u also see ur enrollment box in usconnect?

@sielburt:
that’s true. i have to look more into that. but most universities its like that.

It was this one that NGarcia posted.

I don’t know how standard this is though. I got my acceptance packet two weeks ago, which most of you I don’t think have received?

@Flyflydos

I don’t even know what Oasis is. This whole enrollment process for USC is confusing compared to what I went through with UCSB. I plan on just driving out to USC next week and trying to sort everything out to make sure everything is good.

UC BERKELEY IT IS!

REJECTED.

MAJOR: MARSHALL

GPA: 3.96

CREDITS. 64

EC: STUDENT BODY VICE PRESIDENT, PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS SOCIETY, PRESIDENT
OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS CLUB, CAPTAIN OF THE TUTOR CLUB

ESSAY:TALKED ABOUT STEVE JOBS AND WHAT KIND OF EFFECTUAL IMPACT HE HAS HAD ON THE WORLD TODAY ECONOMICALLY.

SCHOOLS ACCEPTED: BERKELEY, NYU, UCLA, UCSD

REJECTED: USC, UPENN, UC RIVERSIDE, UC SANTA BARBARA

Comments: WHAT else could I have done?I cant help but think this is a mistake. I nearly perfected my academia and surpassed their standards. I displayed leadership through holding a position of authority through student council and various business clubs on campus. My essay was superb with outstanding letter of recommendation from the CEO of Starbucks and the Chinese Embassy. Honestly…I couldnt have done anything else…haha im not feeling like ****. ITS just doesnt make sense.

BERKELEY HAAS…Here i come! congrats to everyone here who got in. I bid you well…this will be my last post. IT was fun while it lasted. Take care all and have a great life!

Hey everyone.

Still lurking this thread. My boyfriend got no decisions today and has not had a single update or SGR. He called today and was told to give it 2-4 more weeks. I think he’ll call again on Monday though, as there was a commitment to notify transfers today…

Anyway, for those of you with similar circumstances, never fear for you are in the same boat.

I think it has to do with the date in which the app was submitted. His was sent on the last day they took them. Makes sense to review him last then.

@phillipjaichan

Tuft syndromed.

@Miggaletoe, oasis is a page where you can check your transfer credits and other information
https://camel2.usc.edu/OASIS/</a></p>

@phillip hey… i got rejected too!!! 4.0 gpa with good ecs… almost perfect…

USC was the only school i applied… and only for Marshall… …it seems they are afraid of international students because of the case…

I used this backdoor link: http://usconnect.usc.edu/USCRenderservice/ServiceRender/AdmUGCertification.aspx</a>
and an Enrollment Commitment Box appeared. Unfortunately when I clicked the box it says “User is not authorized for this process”.

Does this happen to everyone who uses the link? Or is this a good sign that I’ve been accepted but it’s not official yet, therefore I’m not able to pay just yet?

@solo2012 the link works for accepted applicants. If you are unauthorized, they have yet to review your app or you have been rejected.
