I think it’s fine since things can happen. I called USC a few days ago and they said they received my college, but not my high school or my cc transcript from high school. I called both and they said they mailed it out about a week ago, so i’m still going to wait it out for another week. They understand that it can get lost, so I wouldn’t sweat it. Give it this weekend and call back Monday. If they still haven’t received by then, I would then resend it by the end of next week.

@ SilverRex:
don’t feel too bad. i’m in the same boat. at least i sent off FAFSA.

but i feel really stupid because i had everything in order. sent out the supplement and pushed submit and the payment so i thought everything was send when i submitted the application but found out that i didn’t because i didn’t do the signature part of it. ugh!!!

do u still need to send ur cc transcripts even if the university i am at has those transcripts and it would just be added in with their’s already?

BlackRose21, I know that feeling. I made a similar mistake when I applied right out of high school.

And I would send in the transcript anyway. If they get it in the mail and find it redundant, they’ll just recycle it. No harm done when you’re just trying to cover all your bases.

I don’t think we should be too worried about any of the financial aid documents yet (CSS and FAFSA). Says on the website to just submit as soon as you can after the deadline.

“Submit CSS/PROFILE® application to college service and FAFSA application to federal processors. If you miss this deadline, apply as soon as possible after this date.”

FAFSA deadline is actually due in March (FAFSA website).

“State Deadline: California - For initial awards - March 2, 2012. Applicants encouraged to keep a record of their submission by printing out their online FAFSA confirmation page or obtaining proof of mailing the FAFSA. Additional form may be required. Contact your financial aid administrator or your state agency.”

USC just wants to be ahead of schedule. Correct me if you find out different or more specific information.

SilverRex: yeah I really hate that. good thing i went back and checked it out. i would of been really ticked off if i found out like a week or month later that it didn’t get sent! i would of probably found out once I was in USC connect but still! hopefully they’re still evaluate mine.

SWNDEE: yeah that’s good to know! but i ad the feeling u wanted to sent it now because of money and scholarships that you might qualify for as a transfer. also i though it was by march for your parents to file. but they did say the same thing to me when it came to LOR.

BlackRose21: yeah, definitely going to try and submit by tomorrow! hahah would have submit it yesterday, but parents live overseas and getting all that info is taking a while.

I submitted my application on Feb.1 but have not received any email regarding how to build my USConnect account, does anyone know what the next step is? thx

@yumenonaka i’m having a problem with it too! i don’t know how to log on usc connect. i didn’t realize that they were supposed to email you stuff.
