Also, if you dont get in its probably best just to get your bachelors at a UC/CSU and then get your masters at USC.

@ScGal12 I figure I might as well reapply to USC next year cause it is my dream school, but I am also going to apply for all the UC’s and CSU’s this upcoming fall just to have backups. Hopefully I won’t have to do this process again and just go to USC with an acceptance :D

@cheddergoldfish: yeah i’m in the same boat. many universities don’t allow you to apply as a freshmen. they usually want you to stay there for at least 2 years at their university. so if i don’t get it then i guess that’s the end for me and i’ll just finish strong at my current university, unless i transfer to another florida university.

I still can’t get on USConnect! It won’t let me sign up my email address! Any ideas?

What is the CSS profile and did anyone complete it?

i had the same problem. just call the admissions office and they should give you a password that works!

yeah u definitely need that if you want kind of financial aid money or possible scholarships. in my opinion i think its stupid because everything they need to know about your finances is on FAFSA. I don’t know how much they need, also the fact u have to pay $16 for it versus FAFSA is for free. But I would do it this weekend if u can. its kind of late now but still better than nothing.

Wow, some decisions are gonna be released within this month!!

^What makes you say that? o_o that would be awesome if they released decisions early!

Sent from my SCH-R910 using CC

I’d love for some decisions this month. The wait is awful. It’s hard to think about much else

@ScGal12

I will definitely reapply. USC just has too much opportunity.

Trying - but unsuccessfully - not to be too hopeful. Admission results this month are scholarship recipients right? That’s like, triple score!

Soo… I definitely think I’m going to be rejected. It turns out my GPA is actually way lower than I thought it was (some change in grades apparently!!!).

However, with my current semester, I think I could bring it up to a 3.55~? I currently have solid A’s in all of my classes and midterms have passed so I’m hoping to keep this up!

Do you think they’ll even ask for spring sem grades though if I show them my terrible fall sem grades? Haha.

@lullabies
I’m in the same boat as you…
I’m hoping that they as for sgr too…

@jamesbball:

I can’t fulfill my writing requirement becasue all of the classes are full. What should I do?

GoUSC- What’s your GPA and how many units have you completed?

have any of ur parents filed or haven’t filed yet? because i’m still trying to figure out if we will be penalized if resend it after march 2nd.

I won’t be reapplying next year. I’m already a third-year CCC student out of HS and don’t want to spend any more time here at CC. I have UC backups (hopefully).

i just called them and they said that if u send ur transcripts after today than it won’t affect ur financial aid package. just send it as soon as possible. that’s good to know. :)

@scgirl - around 25? And my gpa is 3.7 :). I’m hoping to raise it by .1. I feel most comfortable at a 3.8.
