@DJpsu2015 Yep, I’m studying in America.

@Cminor All students who meet the deadline will be automatically considered for the merit scholarship. So don’t worry about that.

Hey everyone,

Can we chose the classes that we want to transfer over? The reason why I’m asking is that I’m also taking math/science classes in case i want to go to med school, but I am a English major, or do they just transfer everything thats a GE at USC and major requirements? Every quarter I take a English classe, and one science, plus a math… etc

I just realized that both macroµ econ are not transferable for Marshall. That’s really a strict requirement. Those are just very basic business tool courses and the other B-schools with higher ranking I’m applying will accept ma&mi econ courses taken elsewhere. Sigh…

Ok sounds good. Do you by chance remember what your GPA was winter quarter?

Damn everyone is telling me I’m not going to get in with a 3.3 gpa. Are you supposed to send your spring grades when you finish as well?

mike - winter grade was lowest and it was around a 3.2 or 3.3.

Huh, I just submitted my Cornell application, which means I finally finished all my transfer application! I know it’s been an extremely rough time for everyone: preparing for the transfer application (essays, checking materials, LORs, various forms…) while keeping up the GPA and doing ecs. I always tell myself “Over prepare, then go with the flow.” I believe all of us have done our best in the process, then just let god determine the rest. Be proud of ourselves coz we are trying so hard to achieve our goal. The process MATTERS! Glad to have this platform to share feelings with those who are experiencing the same thing. Good luck and my best wishes!

^Amen to that. Good luck everyone

@msrv99 Since you are at Umich, why don’t you just attend Ross? It’s such a great B-school. If it were a two-year program, I would have applied for it.

I just called. They have my transcripts! Now, the waiting game!

Those who will be Juniors next year, if you don’t get into USC, are you going to re-apply during your third year?

I don’t believe they take 4th year transfers…

@Jeremystory

I’m still applying to Ross and it is a great business school. It’s just that USC has always been my number 1 choice and since it also has a 3 year business program I decided to give it a shot.

well if you haven’t started your upper division courses, then its still possible for those staying 5 years in college, right?

@ScGal12

If I dont get into USC this semester than I am not going to re-apply. I already got into CSU Fullerton which is not as prestigious, but they still have an excellent business program.

@msrv99 Oh, then good luck. If I could choose between Ross and Marshall, I would choose Ross:) And I think the B-program in Marshall is a 4-year one.

@ScGal12

I will not be re-applying if I don’t get in. I have already gotten into San Jose state as well as my other safety schools. San Jose has an exellent occupational therapy program as well.

I’m most likely not going to apply to any school after this (if I don’t get in). I was initially thinking UCLA and Berkeley if my gpa stayed above a 3.7, but it’s honestly not worth it and I’m just better off finishing strong at my current school.

@ScGal12 I don’t think I can reapply as I applied as a junior, then again… A lot of my classes from my 4 year college dont’ seem to transfer over, so wouldn’t my “junior” application technically be counted as a sophomore application if I have less than 30 sem transferable units?
