Just received an email from SCA admissions asking for an updated progress report of my spring classes so hopefully this means they’re interested!

^bubbletea94

When I use that number it tells me “You have entered an invalid USC ID”. Any other ideas? Anyone? It bugs me that it seems like so many of you can log in to Oasis and WebReg but I can’t.

I also haven’t received any sort of request for additional information.

Hmm

@alain OCC or what?

so can evrryone who can get into oasis also get into webreg? btw when you change your password for oasis it changes for webreg as well.

yes when u change ur password for oasis, it also changes your pass for webreg.

I can log into both as well so i’m pretty sure it doesn’t mean anything as I could do the same last year when I applied and still got the boot.

yea i know haha im just wondering for the people who can right now log into oasis can also get in webreg. or is there someone who can only get into oasis or none at alll

I noticed that WRIT140 was added to my course cart on “STARS interactive audit report” not by me and the pre-approval form for courses worked before now tells me:
“You are not eligible to use the online pre-approval process, due to your current student status. Contact the Degree Progress Department for assistance (JHH-010).”

Edit:
And the term for the courses has changed in the past 10 minutes.

^JR2013

I can’t get into eithe Oasis or WebReg. I’m told my Student ID number is invalid.

I applied and got in last year, so I’m wondering if that’s part of it since I’m pretty sure the number is the same from last year.

SGR! funny i called my admissions counselor and told me on my file it said it was requested last week but when i just checked usc connect right now, it finally appeared!

he also explained this “myth” behind SGRs, it’s basically for sophomore transfers which is understandable because i only have about 30 units as of now. yayyyyyyyy

yayyy!!! that means I probably won’t get an SGR!!! woot woot!

@HeartyBowl IVC

@2016collegegirl When you call admissions, do you ask them about the status of your application and they will tell you? I don’t understand how that works lol

wait guys IM a sophomore transfer and NO SGR! WHY!?

@kris0203 We still have a month to go…

okey well now im comfortable with no sgr… but admission package would still be pretty cool

glad i know now considering i won’t have to hold my breath for june 1st to come. plus i’m done with spring semester in 2 weeks so as soon as grades are final, he said i can send them to USC so hopefully i can find out my decision quicker!

@alaintran9 i didn’t call admissions, called my couselor. no i asked the status of my app, i.e. if all my transcripts, test scores, etc were on file. then he told me.

@2016collegegirl Yeah I just called my admissions counselor for my area and she said everything was good to go and they have everything but they aren’t allowed to release the actual status revision -_-

I received an sgr today and i am well above 30 units just hoping for the best now!

Soo many SGR’s on here… Looks like a lot would have to be turned away even if we send in 4.0 semesters. Womp womp.
