What are your guys stats? I’ve been cramming all the pre-requisite courses within a semester including Human Anatomy, Physiology, and Developmental Psychology. Did you guys complete all the mandatory pre-requisites before applying? I honestly am 98% I won’t get in and if I do it will only be because of my EC’s and essay but it didn’t hurt to try! Goodluck to all of us :)

@tomred Do you just have core195 or do you have that with writ140?

I wish there was a way to see our decision early, but I guess USC has gotten smarter with their computer systems over the years lol

@Marty I’ll have to get back to you on that… I remember seeing core195 idk about another one though… I got a SGR, so I doubt that means anything for me.

@mom, just hit it on the head… How cruel is it that USC has taken people into July before and then rejected them… Crazy. At that point idk what one is supposed to do. I haven’t asked anybody this but, do any of you guys know what I would do about financial aid acceptance deadlines/packages, for other schools? You can’t accept aid and then not attend that other school can you?

@alamemom
Thank you for your clarification! Still this fact seems so inhuman—you are given hope, you work your ass off, you get a 4.0 in spring, and you still get rejected…

I hope this never happens to anybody

@Michael… If it can happen it will happen to tomred. Lol

USC just needs to hurry up and notify us all ASAP, and not towards the end of the month

@marty, yes I do have the other Writ, one also. I googled what writ140 was at USC, and I believe it’s their freshman writing course… Doesn’t really make sense that I would have that considering I have both of the writing requirements already done.

I also have WRIT 150 and CORE 195 in my cart. That’s definitely odd considering that I should also have the writing requirements fulfilled according to previous articulation agreements with my college. I have no idea what CORE 195 is.

I am going to guess that these two classes show up on everybody’s STARS audit.

@marty212
Yes it has changed several times but most recently it changed from 2015 to 2013 and now it has been the same for a few days. It has some long error code saying “NO REQUIREMENTS FOR DEGREE PROGRAM STARS TERMINATED”. Yes the transcripts link does cause an error for me as well. I wonder what it all means as I haven’t received a SGR yet…(I am applying as a junior)

@dannygusc Im not sure it really means anything if we’ve all completed the writing requirements…mine also lets me view from 2012-2015 which is strange considering i’d be entering as a junior.
btw I also haven’t received a SGR

I think we are making a mountain out of a concave dung hole.

@randomnewguy is yours WRIT140 or WRIT150? Mine’s 140.

Sorry, I meant 140. The night is dark and full of terrors and my goblet does not runneth over with ye olde energy drink.

what if usc is monitoring the oasis and webreg and who ever logged on is now going to be rejected for not being patient …

Yes, because I’m sure any four-year institution wants to reject anxious applicants it knows are far more likely to accept their admissions offers. ;)

I think it’s far more likely that they will reject anyone that HASN’T logged in because it shows apathy and the admissions folks will take it as ambivalence towards any possible offer.

Impatience? I see * initiative.*

I feel like tomorrow will be the first day we start hearing about acceptances! Crossing my fingers.

I wonder what it could mean as well. I do not think i will get a SGR because i applied with 75 credit hours so there isn’t really a point in USC judging my potential admittance on this semester. I just hope its a good sign because as like everyone else on here I am just dying to know if I got in or not so i can have an idea of where i will be in the fall. I feel like we should start seeing some acceptances this week though.

Yeah, I don’t think SGRs are sent out to most junior transfers, but its interesting that some of us have access to all of that even though only some of us have heard back (sgr) so far. My thought is that if your files been looked at then you’re probably in their system since it all seems pretty standard and not tailored to the individual students. But then again that’s just me trying to figure it out.
Im ready to find out too…especially since I need to submit my intent elsewhere by June.

i think that the stars report means nothing seeing how everyone has core 195 and writ 140 …
