@Transfer2OI3 really? mine says “Freshman applicants can submit their first-term senior grades to the Office of Admission via the Mid-Year Report form, available here.”, and when I click on it it opens to a page that says “USC Online Admissions’ Senior Year Report” and gives you boxes to enter your senior year subjects and grades.

I wouldn’t think that’s necessarily a good thing because why would they ask for my senior year grades when they can already look at it on my high school transcript? plus, there’s no message for me on uscconect saying I should fill it out or anything. probably just a glitch…

Did a little snooping on last year’s thread and Mid-year box might mean a decision has been made. I don’t think it’s indicative of an acceptance/rejection though.

Though this is pretty much just speculation after glancing over last year’s thread.

@smalone3d omg, that scares me. if they did make a decision already I would think rejection is more likely because how could they just accept me just based on 15 credit hours? :\ gah. hope it’s nothing.

@bubbletea94 we are fine. not getting an SGR is not a bad thing… it can actually be quite a good thing in some cases. guys people started hearing on this date last year….

omg i’m freaking out, looking at last year’s thread it seemed like seriously everyone who got a mid-year report was rejected. though i’m not sure if what they’re talking about is the exact same thing.

@kris0203 I hope so…fingers crossed

Just checked USConnect and got a SGR… Is this a good sign or nothing at all? I am a 4.0 sophomore, but I can just get 5 As and 1 B, which makes a 3.84 GPA this semester. Does that hurt my chance? I am really worried…
BTW, applicant for Marshall.
And best for all!:)

just called the admissions office and asked if I should fill it out, and the lady said if you’re a transfer applicant then no. I asked her if it was possibly a glitch and she said she doesn’t know, I just don’t have to fill it out. darn, I was hoping she’d know if it indicated anything haha.

@Truman147 I don’t think so, I know a few people from last year did a little worse spring semester and still got in

@bubbletea94
That really relieves a lot for me. But it says my decision will be available in mid-July! The wait is impossible for me! Good luck to you, man.

@letitroll don’t want to get your hopes up to be safe but I would think that’s more a good sign than a bad sign! :)

feeling rejected already I know it’s all just speculation but i’ve seen so many people say mid-year term reports means rejected on the 2012 thread. I hope it’s not the same thing. it would really suck being rejected without even an SGR…I did well in the fall and most likely even better in the spring…not sure what else they could want if I am rejected.
