Official USC 2013 Transfer Thread

I guess it’s possible that some of the SGR people will be spring admits

do you know what separates a spring admit from a regular fall admit? as in, what would make USC admit you in the spring rather than in the fall?

@bubbletea I think they admit some in the spring because at that point many Seniors will be graduating in the fall and the university will have openings. That’s just my guess.

i’m a junior with 80 credits so I probably won’t be asked for a SGR

@bubbeltea what mid year grade reports ? where are you seeing this on usc connect ?

can you not be just straight admitted without an SGR?

Sophomore transfer (1 year at CC), Trojan Transfer Plan, but no SGR, should I be worried?

@Kris0203 yes you can

@ECCAPP You shouldn’t be worried at all! There’s still 3 weeks left before all decisions are released.

@ECCAPP If you’re on the ttp then I don’t think you should be worried

@ronaldot
legacy junior transfer. nothingg at all

@Transfer2OI3 I have a new box when I click on admissions on uscconect. before, I only had 4 boxes- “Undergraduate Application”, “Application Status Check”, “Admissions Documents”, and a link to USC admission’s twitter page. now I have a “Mid-Year Grade Reports” box to the right of “Admissions Documents” where the twitter box used to be (which is now under the “Admissions Documents” box) anyone else have this?

@alaintran9 yeah that would make sense, but I was wondering more like how do they decide who’s going to be admitted as a spring admit and who as a fall admit…are spring admits less qualified applicants or…? although I would rather take spring admittance over no admittance that would still kind of stink.

will they look at the fact that I was admitted last year with a scholarship? or does that not factor into a transfer decision

I have that box too!!! I HOPE THATS GOOD

@kris0203 ooh that’s a good question but I don’t know if any of us would know. they would most likely come across that fact sooner or later but not sure how much it would help you.

lol ME TOO but I doubt it since it’s for freshman applicants…boo

@bubbletea … hmmm I don’t have that … are you sure its for freshman applicants ? are you a junior or sophmore transfer ?

I don’t have that. Weird

Only incoming freshmen use the Mid-Term Grade Report.

I do not have that box. It’s probably a good sign for y’all.

Mid year *
