<p>I did not receive a SGR But got a winter grade request a month ago, I have a strong upward trend, went from a cumulative 3.1 to 3.6 so I am hoping I get a straight acceptance.</p>

<p>It appears everybody and their mother are receiving SGR’s on here… Really makes me wonder just how many does USC send out…? If roughly 9,000 apply and only 3,000 get in, then how many of those 3,000 get SGR’s. Lol these are all questions I’d like answered. Starting to feel like the SGR’s are just some sort of method. Not very promising feeling. Especially when junior transfers are getting them.</p>

<p>@that1guy, I did get one about a week ago lol. But it’s just starting to make me think that the majority do and that I still have no chance lol. And idk some kind of wait list weaker candidates that they really don’t want maybe. Hah</p>
<p>I’m right under the junior level so I will barely be a sophomore if admitted. I applied for sociology and was taking two socio courses this semester but surely that’s not why they asked right?</p>
<p>I am transferring as a sophomore, and they did not ask for my SGR, I feel like I am done.</p>
<p>I’m happy with my SGR at least it’s not a straight rejection.</p>

sophomore applicant applying to dornsife. <em>sigh</em> looked through some more of last year’s thread lol and a few people got their’s on May 7. almost positive my gpa will be higher than last semester’s and really help me (4.0 I think)…if they even see it. </p>
