Official USC 2013 Transfer Thread

@Hwen1994. None of us has the power to affect that. Also, USC’s average acceptance is 3.6, so I think you’re in the ballpark. However, it may hurt that you have a “downward trend.” I know of someone who got in after getting all B’s on his SGR, so don’t lose hope!

im sorry everyone, i didnt mean to be harsh.
im just saying logically USC doesnt have time to change each appliCant’s USC connect home page if they were just gonna get rejected haha

I’m honestly super stoked for my enrollment deposit box to appear, but it will ultimately hit me once a package comes. If accepted, is USC all of your guys’s first choice?

you guys arnt gunna believe this but i just met some lady whos husband is a proffesor at usc!! im definetly gunna try n meet this guy

@alaintran9 if i get into their bachelor-to-master’s program in Occupational Therapy then yes :slight_smile: you? congrats on your enrollment deposit box! :D

Thank you, I feel a bit better now :)

@evelynnnlaw It will mostly depend on the financial award I receive. Chapman was really generous and I would be living at home. But attending SC is something you simply cannot just pass up.

@alaintran9 alot of my friends who attend USC said that USC is really generous as well. especially if your GPA is high, you can get a generous merit-based grants/scholarship

I bet RandomNewGuy, had the box… Where are you? RandomNewGuy? Probably out drinking in victory. Lol

@scimpatient @LaurenElizabeth7 I have 3.8 I finished Anatomy, Physio, Developmental Psych, Medical terminology. but they told me you only need anatomy and developmental psych on top of your GEs for the bs-to-ma in OT

@alaintran9 usc is my first choice and my only choice. My sister went there, met really great people and I am super proud of who she has become. Really love the school!!
btw, any of you out their applied for school of dramatic art??

not to be annoying, lol but

people who were accepted today = business admin/marshall? i think i saw one history/dornslife as well…anything else?

Is there an official “USC Transfer Decisions 2013” thread yet?? It would be nice to have decisions in a separate thread with thorough detail of admitted students’ stats.

@uscgirlclassof15 I saw some biochem/chem. my friend applied as bio, she can see her enrollment deposit box

Seems like engineering is slow lol

@evelynnnlaw

Yeah from what I’ve heard we only need the anatomy & developmental psych…but I’m sure finishing those would really help! Also I read on USC’s website that they actually encourage transfer students to take advantage of their USC’s GE program, so if you don’t have them all finished I wouldn’t worry too much.
Hopefully OT won’t be the last to notify people…but who knows :(

@jrenee there is and two people are already on there

@scimpatient @LaurenElizabeth
what are you guys’ stats?

I really hope not :confused: I’d hate to lose my money to submit my SIR to a UC and then find out I got into USC (if I get in haha)

@USCHopeful11 what’s the link?

Yeah, I think Engineering is slow too haha.
