I can log into OASIS as well and i get the same writ 140 checkboxes as well. As a matter of fact i recently (about an hour ago) called usc admissions and asked them about this and the admissions lady told me that applicants shouldn’t be able to log into that yet…so it may be a positive sign…maybe…take from that what you will, but even though i can still log in with no problems, i’m definitely not getting any hopes up :P

I haven’t applied for financial aid yet so I can’t log into oasis.
Anyone that didn’t apply for financial aid that CAN log into oasis here???

I’m thinking only people who applied for financial aid can log into oasis therefore it has nothing to do with acceptances or denials .

@uscindian I’m not going to sugarcoat things…it’s 50/50 imo. I’ve seen many people on this forum get accepted with a sgr even for the fall just at a later date than other applicants. I’ve also seen people who finished their spring terms with 4.0’s and get rejected. I know the wait is long, but I’d much rather prefer a sgr over a rejection. My advice to you is that you continue to work diligently in school…A 4.0 doesn’t guarantee you an acceptance, but I’d much rather show USC that I can finish up the school year with excellent grades rather than decent grades.

@paguy8 Cool. Political Science. Crazy to think an Out of Stater has already been straight out accepted. Anxious to hear what his stats were!

Here’s a list of things that have been shown to indicate acceptance before snail mail:

1) ‘Enrollment Commitment Deposit’ box on USConnect - so far, very reliable
2) Email telling you ‘Congratulations on your admittance’ - couldn’t get anymore reliable than that
3) Filled out STARS Interactive Audit Report on OASIS - so far, reliable
4) Class & Major listed on Financial Aid Status tab on USConnect - so far, reliable, though this feature is now hidden because it was brought to the attention of the school

That’s it. There are no other indicators that have been discovered yet.

If you think you have found another indicator, it would be nice if you posted it here so that we can see if it’s something we have.

@itzsupermanyo awesome, but yeah I wake up everyday and think today is the day I’m gonna find out but not yet haha one of these days though and I hope it comes with a gold package haha

@Paguy8 I’m right there with you haha

@Paguy8 You think that’s bad…I straight up got two hours of sleep the night before an exam because I was contemplating whether or not I’ll be accepted. Let’s just say I most likely didn’t do too well.

I haven’t applied for financial aid and I CAN login to oasis & also have received my sgr. So… Who knows

Gosh, I’m just feeling farther and farther from the possibility that they accept me. I have a feeling that I’m just gonna get an outright decision, and I am absolutely not feeling good about what that decision will be.

Hope we all get some news soon!

I was able to log onto Oasis earlier today, now i CANT. . .oh well.

Just waiting on that packet in the mail during may…but until then i gotta continue to work my ass off in my classes and finish strong for this final month of may

@5nonnegotiables when you submitted your application, did you tell them that you were going to apply for financial aid? or have you just not gotten to it yet?

@Spiffyb0i I got two hours of sleep last night also I was looking at last years thread all night going through it! So I feel your pain it stinks for me because I have finals all next week and its so hard to focus!!! :((((

@Trojfan131 I am right there with you! Since I’m out of state I don’t know if they just look at my whole transcript which is 31 or if they look only at the stuff that transfers and If they look at all my stuff I have a 3.51 because I got a C my first semester and they look at stuff that transfers I only have 28 credits with a 2.68 so I feel like I have a 5% chance of getting accepted that percent sounds right I think haha

@Paguy8 I believe that they only look at the credit total/GPA associated with transferrable credits only
Are you transferring from a four year?

oops delete

question, for those who have already gotten their admission packet, is the financial aid included in there?

Mine said to go online to look, but my parents and I never uploaded our 2014 tax return info. On their admissions portal it still says that my financial aid is under review or something like that and that there are materials required.
