I spoke to the Annenberg dean of admissions last week. She pretty much reiterated that they stick the the dates listed because of the sheer volume of applicants and all the work on their end. I wouldn’t expect any news until closer to the deadline @LAboundgirl and @JR2013. Good luck, guys. Don’t stress out if other school’s decisions trickle out first.

It doesn’t mean anything @xsayax it’s just the system. It has been doing stuff like that to everyone

@scahopeful Thanks! Any change going on just makes me wonder if it’s a sign (good or bad) or something! And now it’s back to fall. Sorry for freaking out!

@LAboundgirl I applied to Annenberg as well! will you be a junior? I am getting so nervous waiting

@scahopeful thanks! and my restriction tab says 4/30/14 3:33, probably the last time they updated Oasis for my account.

whats the restriction tab?^

@xsayax you’re cool, I just didn’t want you to think it meant something bad, keep hope alive! haha

Spiffyboi, oh yeah I remember you posting that now! I figure as long as the date on the restrictions tab hasn’t changed, the error message on STARS is probably not an indicator of anything. But if it has changed it could be…

@nmwcorvette it’s on OASIS. It’s on the very first page when you first log in. It has a date that indicates when your access (By access I think it means registering or courses) started being restricted

@nmwcorvette It’s on OASIS, people whose restrictions have changed (it starts at a date around the time you turned your app in) means that they have been doing stuff in your account, and is a possible indicator of acceptance

I searched all through the months of May, June, and July in last years transfer thread. I only saw that one person was rejected with a 4.0 after spring grades, but USC specifically called him and asked if he would be interested in another major and he declined. He was a business major applying to Marshall. Sorry, just bringing it up because I remember someone saying that people get rejected after receiving a 4.0 and getting an SGR and I went a little crazy last night.

There’s still hope for all of us hahaha

oh alright!! mine says " Activity Restrictions as of 04:34pm on 05/01/2014 " though i dont know what that means haha. I feel like how @Spiffyb0i felt a few days ago with an updated stars audit report with everything filled out and a giant question of what does this all mean… lol

Is anyone looking for a roommate for this coming Fall?

To all the SGRed kids out there,

I feel your pain! We are seeing so many acceptances on here and we are wondering what we did wrong, what we didn’t do enough of, how that one stupid C+ in a hard bio class could make or break.

Work hard for the last part of this year and most importantly, keep that fighting spirit! It’s easy to say that we aren’t good enough, but if anything, we can show USC that we will finish this year with perfect grades!

@anyabel what major are you applying into and how many units do you have, if you don’t mind me asking

Environmental science and health
(Probably pre pharm)
3.71 from uc Davis
33 units

@uscindian

@uscindian

I have a 4.0, applying to Marshall and have not seen any status, either in oasis or USConnect change. I checked my restrictions time and it dates back to February.

I have the English, and Calculus requirements completed as well as most GE’s besides from 2 which I am taking right now and will probably get A’s in. 47 units completed and 17 in progress lots of EC’s, good writing and 3 top notch letters of recommendation. It drives me crazy that most Marshall applicants here already received something, but don’t even want to wonder off with negative thinking, anyways all I can do is wait.

:((
:)) @-)

@nmwcorvette Is your STARS report filled out or do you have the error message?

I wonder if your 2nd choice is Marshall, you don’t get into your first choice, and you’re taking calculus right now, will they still send you an SGR or try to weigh you for undecided instead? I mean if your first choice is Annenberg or SCA or one of the last schools to send out decisions and you don’t get in, would they even consider SGR’ing you? Or just outright accept/reject you for your 2nd choice or undecided?

delete

@fdominguez
I have a 3.94 GPA and have completed 58 units with another 16 in progress. I have all of the Prerequisite classes required for Marshall and most of the GE’s as well and have not heard anything back either.

They probably haven’t gone through everyone yet. We just gotta wait a bit longer.
