Official USC 2014 Transfer Thread

have a majority of SGRs already came out? Or will a lot more come out this month ?
I have not got a SGR and am hoping not to get one at all!

Also, what are the chances of receiving a SGR with over 50+ units under my belt ?

@maymonroe94‌ More will be coming out until the end of May. With regards to the likelihood of you receiving one, it depends on your grades. For example, I have a lot of units as well, but I have a strong upward trend, so it’s likely that they will send me one (if I’m not rejected) to see that my grades are continuing to get better each semester.

Are there any other USC Fall 2014 Transfer applicants?

@transferoutjc I believe we all are USC Fall 2014 Transfer applicants

Has everyone read this: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/1558825-what-are-my-chances-for-usc-final-answer.html</a> ‘Chance Me’ thread? It provides some useful insights for all your ‘Chance me’ related questions.

Also, in this thread (which is appropriately titled Official USC 2014 Transfer Thread), there are insights regarding OASIS, WebReg, USConnect, admission indicators, and stats of admitted transfers for 2014-2015. Feel free to read through this thread and the chance thread if you have questions because they might have already been answered.

@scahopeful sadly that chance me thread only applies to freshman applicants, not any of us

Hey guys I currently have a 4.0 GPA at a Community College I received a letter from USC for Spring Grades! Is this a good thing or bad thing? I’m totally stoked, I think its great news… Would love to hear all your thoughts please!?

@gctosc‌ Just show them another 4.0 this semester and you should be in. No guarantees, but it’s likely.

@gctosc Are you applying to transfer in as a sophmore or junior?

I think new posters should read through the thread first and then ask questions.

Some questions are getting so repetitive that this thread is becoming useless. Especially questions concerning “What does this mean in Oasis?” These questions have already been answered.

@gctosc Please read through the thread.

@hepburn95‌ For me personally, I had my Star Audit Report filled out first with my major and classes and other things. The next day at night I got a message underneath the “Application status check”, giving me a PDF of my acceptance. The morning after (last Saturday morning), I got my enrollment box along with a chance to connect to other transfers via Facebook box. It’s currently Monday and I’m currently waiting on the mailman for an acceptance package.

@maymonroe94‌ I am applying to transfer in as a sophomore! and thanks @hepburn95

Did anybody here apply to any ivies as well?

Spring Grade Request! I’m an Annenberg applicant, btw. Happy, but just want to make sure I get a decision sooner rather than later after I submit my grades. Should be finishing up a 4.0 this semester though, so that’s good.

Also forgot to mention I’m a sophomore transfer applicant.

Got an SGR today. I’m kind of happy to be honest as I swore I would get a rejection outright.

@bobo79‌
Which major did you apply to?

does anyone who try to click the “stars inactive audit report” get just an outline of the white box?? or is it just me…and every time when i click a link it says “sorry not available” or something bad. should i be worrying?!

also, should i put a deposit down at another school?? i am really worried about the housing situation since my parents want me to live on campus. can anyone pls give me insight? thanks!!

for those of you who got in, did you get an email first from usc to check ur usconnect? or no email…

@iloveasianguys‌ Try switching web browsers, I think that worked for some people. I would put down a deposit if I were you, I sent one in today for another school. It’s just good to be safe, and if you end up going there, you don’t want to end up in bad housing, or not get housing at all, or whatever else happens to people who send in late deposits.
