@Karlos Negative, mine is the same as it was before my SGR. Since yours is filled out, I would certainly say that you are in. Just gotta wait for that confirmation letter, but congrats!

@Karlos,

So you had that original error(The Writ 140 one) and it has since changed? Really stressed me out seeing an incomplete Stars report haha

Hi everyone! Has any rejection decision been made? I am wondering if everybody whose USConnect got updated received either Acceptance or SGR.

@kmc357

i had the error page where the graphs and table was not filled out a couple days ago. But on the 5/3 it got updated with graphs and table and my major.

I assume the incomplete star report for me, is because some issue with my transcript. I keep on getting notices from SC about missing WINTER GRADE REPORT. But i sent in multiples copy.

By the way, those who got accepted, what’s your SAT scores? Did you even send it? Does it matter in transfer in freshmen year ?

Received SGR… I am sorry but may I ask people what the instruction? I changed the mailing address to the one in South Korea… so I won’t be able to see it until I return to there… I see on the Document section asking for transcript from my current institution.

@bballprofessor23 Congrats!! And good luck finishing off the semester. I have not received anything yet but hopefully soon!

@goforusc12 applicants who have earned less than 30 credits are required to submit standardized test scores. Although I’ve yet to be accepted or denied, I sent them my ACT and I got 31 composite.

@RawShark yeah I believe an interview really helps the school get a more three dimensional look at you as an applicant. They are probably trying to see what kind of applicant they would be accepting before they pull the trigger.

Come on USC, I am so tired of checking usc connect. Already got into University of Michigan Ann Arbor and Boston University but usc is my top choice

Does anyone know the average transfer gpa for dornsife? Is a 3.7 too low for getting into arts and sciences?

@almxy45 It depends what your major is but a 3.7 is competitive

@almxy45 As far as I know the average was 3.5, you should be fine with a 3.7

@almxy45 I’m pretty sure whether you’re a sophmore or junior will also matter though

Honestly the worst part isn’t getting reject but waiting for an answer is killing!!! I wish they could rip the band-aid off a little faster! It’s like my whole life is just waiting on one answer. And it could come anytime during this entire summer!!!

@joshpick Hmm, interesting. I still haven’t been able to log on to OASIS. What are your stats?

Have any other Thornton applicants received SGRs or admission decisions?

@goforusc12 I submitted my 31/34/31/31 ACT over two sittings (31 composite for one sitting), one SAT II, and a few AP scores.

@almxy45
I got into BU, too, and its deadline for deposit is June1. Hopefully I can hear from USC before that.

My GPA is the same with you. I noticed a lot of accepted applicants from Community College have pretty high GPA, like above 3.9. I’m thinking if AO would take the ranking of current college into account when reviewing GPA.

Did any of Dornsife CLA applicants received SGR yet?
or got accepted already?

Hi, to anyone who’s gotten accepted, did any of you get your packages after USConnect updated? I got accepted via USConnect last night but I haven’t gotten anything in the mail at school or at my house. Would have expected it today. Please let me know! I’m really excited about it haha. Also, my request to join the group hasn’t been accepted yet and when I tried to join a similar (guessing student created group) but I needed a USC email address. Does anyone know if we get these before the school year starts? I’m still trying to make my decision if I’m going or not and I really want to talk to other transfers about it haha.
