@LAharbor24 No, there are a few “Juniors” who have received SGRs.

@hopeformarshall what about the second paragraph? does it say they will notify by June 1st or June 3rd?

@maymonroe94 Dorsnife for Psychology!

@cindyoh95 fingers crossed, I’m a psych major also but I haven’t heard anything yet :(

Are there any Dornsife Neuroscience applicants on here? I know there was one or two people, but those were SGR’s. I’m hoping we get some definitive news by next week.

@LAHarbor24 I’m a junior transfer for Annenberg and I have not received a SGR!

@maymonroe94 mine says June 1

"We have received your Common Application and USC Supplement, and it appears we require no additional information at this time. We will be reviewing applications through the month of May, and we expect to be able to meet our commitment to notify transfers by June 1st. Sometimes, in the course of our review of applications, we find that we need additional information. In such cases we will email a request. If you receive a request for more information, please respond promptly. In some cases we need to review final, spring term grades. If we request these of you, we will provide specific instructions on how to submit your spring grades to ensure speedy handling. In these cases, we make our final decisions later, typically by mid-July. "

Haven’t received anything in the mail but checked on USConnect and I’m SGR’d for Marshall. I’m on quarter system right now so I recently took in my updated transcript with my Winter quarter grades. As of right now I have a little bit over 42 semester units with a 3.83 GPA. At the end of this Spring quarter I should be at exactly 54 semester units with hopefully a pretty similar GPA. It sucks that if I don’t want to risk getting stuck at my current school I’m going to have to put down a deposit for somewhere else, seeing as I won’t be hearing back until mid-July.

@asdfg789 Mine also says June 1st, but I think it’s just an edit that they made recently. No meaning or anything.

I have yet to hear from SC regarding admission or an SGR but I just checked Oasis and on my Stars Audit Report it says “STARS - DEGREE PROGRESS REPORT
BACHELOR OF ARTS
INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS (GLOBAL BUSINESS)”

That was my backup major, and I originally applied as a BizAdmin major for Marshall. Has anyone that has been admitted yet been admitted for their back up major/second choice?

@charoog, just curious, what time was your oasis updated? Mine was updated today at 3:30am ish with Business Admin major on it.

@tennisguy2006 same here! It says at 03:29. So you think we will be hearing from the school officially soon?

@HopeForMarshall Not to be a nuisance, but have you heard anything yet? I saw your stats before and it blew me away. You’re one of the more common names I recognize on this site so I’m really pulling for you if you haven’t heard a decision yet. Just curious that’s all.

@charoog I am hoping so man!! I have been dreaming about it since high school… Just checked, 3:29 too. Did anyone getting a SGR have their oasis filled…? Hoping to not get that SGR or rejection so I do not have to pay the SIR to Cal…

@tennisguy2006 Hopefully something good comes out of this. I don’t want a SGR either… guess we’re just gunna have to wait. Congrats on Cal btw! Best of luck to you.

I’m an Junior Annenberg applicant as well and haven’t received an SGR either. I don’t think I am. I’m just waiting for an acceptance or rejection.

@Karlos Congrats, did you receive your financial aid?

Have any SCA applicants heard back yet?

Why is everybody getting a SPR while I was requested to submit my winter grades. I’m on a quarter system by the way? Am I falling behind most applicants in the process?

@greengecko no, nothing so far, not even an update. I doubt we well hear anything for a week or two. I also doubt any SCA applicants will get SGR’s because of limited space. Its probably going to be a straight up acceptance or rejection.
