Official USC 2014 Transfer Thread

When you get your USC acceptance packet in the mail (for those of you that have). Do they include your scholarships and financial aid amount?

@LAHarbor24 I think some junior level transfers have gotten Sgr sadly

SGR-ed… I’m rather upset, I think I would have preferred a rejection but I don’t know how I feel yet.

Currently a freshman at NYU but I’m worried I’m going to get rejected anyways because my GPA might fall a little and it’s already just OK (3.4)

:((

@cindyoh95 It is because you’re a freshman applicant, you only had 1 semester to show USC of your capabilities so they want to see more in order to evaluate you.
what school did you apply to ?

Hey guys, not to be an annoyance but my Stars Report, Audit report, and Transfer Credit Report are filled out. However, I do not have the pie chart like @Karlos‌ does… (I have everything else though.) Is this a bad sign? USC prepared my Audit Report on 5/7/2014 at 3:30am… My USConnect has not been updated.

any viterbi applicants hear anything yet?

my activity restrictions on oasis changed from 1/20/2014 (date i turned in my application) to 5/7/2014 (today). The thing is my audit report and stars report have not changed. My audit report still says 5/1/2014. So since my restrictions date changed does that mean they are looking at my application? just curious…

@romab93‌ i am a freshman applicant hoping to go in for soph year! i have a 3.85 at a CC right now.

@kyle2015‌ yes! that means activity is on your account! crossing fingers for you! :)

@takemetoUSC oh I see you! you probably just got a SGR because you’re a sophmore don’t worry!!

where do you find your USC ID for Oasis?, I know the passcode is MMDDYY

i thought it was the 10 digit # when you check application status? doesnt work for me

@jack2011 it doesn’t work for me either I have been trying for weeks now, i guess it just doesn’t work for some of us

Hey guys. Is an sgr extremely bad? It says I wont find out until mid july and im extremely upset at the moment.

Hey guys I just called admissions. Good news for portfolio people: if you’re worried that you haven’t heard back yet, don’t fret. I am a School of Architecture applicant and the woman told me that applicants for that school (and I’m assuming for other requiring portfolios) will not hear back until mid to late May. So, we should start hearing back sometime next week.

Keep your heads up everyone!

@jack2011‌ look on upper right of USConnect under the admission status tab!

@ittzsarahh Please read the thread. This question has been answerd many times in the past few pages alone. Good luck.

@HopeForMarshall‌ oh wow, I totally didn’t notice that! thank you!

Anyone who hasn’t received a SGR or an admission decision can you copy & paste what it says under your admission status?

@maymonroe94 “You can track the status of your application here. Check back periodically to see any new information that is requested. Please be aware that all final admission decisions are sent via postal mail. If you are using the Safari browser on a Mac computer or iPhone and experiencing problems viewing a message, please try an alternate browser such as Chrome.”

“We have received your Common Application…”
