Just got accepted to USC- dornsife!!

@musttransfer‌2014 Congrats!!! Are you a sophomore or junior transfer? And how did you find out?

Thanks everybody and hope you guys hear from USC soon

i also posted my stats on the USC Decisions thread

<a href=“USC Transfer Decisions 2014 - #16 by BasedBoss - Transfer Students - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1645573-usc-transfer-decisions-2014-p2.html</a></p>

anyone who applied to dornsife as an econ major want to compare stats ? message me

@hepburn95‌ I’m a junior transfer. I found out through us connect this morning
3‌

Anybody get into dornsife for sociology yet? Haven’t heard crap back from usc yet…smh. But from what i see, they only seem to be responding to ppl with 3.7-4.0 gpa’s…(sigh) lets hope there’s still room for us in the 3.2-3.5 gpa range.

Don’t lose hope Kyle!! Dornsife sent me a sgr with a 3.7 so not all of us are getting in. USC is holistic so they don’t just look at your gpa. Just keep thinking positive and hopefully both of us would get in.

If my star audit report and star report is filled out is that a good sign? or have people who had it filled out not been accepted as well? Sorry just really excited cause I noticed it was filled out this morning! good luck to everyonee

@almxy45 do you believe the rest of your application was weak since you received a SGR? because a 3.7 is a great GPA!!

@musttransfer2014‌ Would you mind posting your stats on the stats page when you get a chance? Thanks!

@jjango from what i’ve seen and heard throughout this thread is that having that stuff filled out is a sign of acceptance. So congrats to you man and lookout for that acceptance packet in the mail.

@kyle2015 have you heard back for anything yet, even like a SGR?

Been following thread but just made account here, Im applying for School of Architecture, anyone hear anything thats in the same boat?

Have a 3.901 GPA with 61 credit hrs? Im confident in my portfolio and letters of rec…

@romab93‌ here I applied to Econ major but I got my SGR

@maymonroe94 naw man…nothing. It gets frustrating seeing all these other ppl get SGR’s or acceptances. But hey, everyone has their time right? Got a 111 out of120 on my anth 101 test last monday, so i’m just staying focused in my spring classes for now. Which is what we all really should be doing lol

I got accepted into Dornslife!
3.79 GPA
International Relations (Global Business)
Junior Transfer
Good essays and solid work experience
I didn’t get an email. They sent it monday and I just randomly checked it today

@squashbanana congrats! do you mind putting up your stats on the stats page ? :)

ahh I’m stressed if an SGR is a good thing or a bad thing!! :frowning: all of these people getting acceptances freaks me out!!

@takemetousc what are your stats for getting a SGR? Are you a freshman or sophomore ?

Quick thing I noticed. Has any Junior level transfers from CC semester received an SGR? It seems that most of the sophomore/juniors are receiving them and not the Juniors. I wouldn’t say SGR is a bad thing, it’s just don’t have enough until after the semester to fully make a decision. Junior level transfers have already sent all their grades do they’re either doing to get accepted/denied. Don’t think an SGR is a rejection, it’s not.
