@sielburt, thanks for the info, I’m happy to hear it!
AND CONGRATS! :)

viterbi? anyone?

where do you find if they are requesting SGR? Where In us connect and also Oasis?

@randombookie They just aren’t done filling it out yet, that’s why it says you haven’t completed anything. Or if you already have some classes on there that says completed then maybe those GEs just didn’t transfer)

20143 means you were accepted and starting at the fall semester

@itzsupermanyo Generally speaking, SGRs are decided as soon as the grades are received and reviewed. There have been many cases where SGRs receive a decision during the month of May.

@redick4 You don’t find out through OASIS. OASIS is not good for anything besides figuring out acceptances. If you are SGRed on USConnect, you would find out on the Application Status check section. You may also receive an email or actual mail from USC (though this is less common now than it was in the past)

delete

@randombookie I am wondering if you have 20143 as just the catalog year or the term entrance year. I also have 20143 for catalog year but under “Pertinent Data” it says “Term of Entrance” 20151. What does it say for the entrance?

I got into Roski for fall 2014! I cant believe it!
I got my cart emptied and restrictions updated Thursday.
My stars audit and report were updated Friday.
I received my acceptance package today Saturday! No update on usconnect though.
Now i’m worried about the $$ to pay for it all -.-

@ HopeForMarshall, 20143 is listed as both the catalog yr and term of entrance yr. Maybe it’s bc you got an SGR? I’m not too sure though

and I got accepted!! this is so funny, I was just looking at this thread and my OASIS hoping i would get a gold package and I did. USC is my dream school and it hurt a lot when I was rejected last year. GOOD LUCK to everyone! If you get rejected, apply next year, seriously.

on a more negative note, I was surprised that they want a 3.5 GPA on my spring courses. I mean it’s not hard to get, but it’s a bit high compared to the UCs. Is the minimum GPA to not get rescinded different from everyone?

Also, when will the financial aid review be completed? thanks

@bennyisbansky you were all worried and at “Peace with it” just a few days ago haha. Congrats!!!

@randombookie no, I didn’t get SGRed. I think I just made the “second cut.” I’ll take it!

@HopeForMarshall, that’s still good! Congrats :)

Does anyone know how hard it is change majors to Public Policy (Health Admin)?

does it mean anything if my stars report is blank, my restrictions are from January, but my interactive stars report was last updated may 20 and otherwise not that useful?

@randombookie what program did you get accepted with?

@hoolersae What browser are you using? If your STARS IAR shows a blank white box its because it’s considered an ‘unsafe script’ on the chrome browser and you must load it

Congrats to the 2 official acceptances

@scahopeful that’s why I said “around” the June 3rd deadline, indicating some hear back the last week of May (like last year) or the first few days of June. Generally yes we’re suppose to hear back as soon as we submit our grades, but if last year was any indication some of us will be dragged into July no matter what, which is unfortunate #FightOn

Hey guys do you know how I check what GPA I have to maintain? I did not see a minimum to maintain on any of my acceptance correspondence. Please help

@stanx89

If your ‘Conditions of Admission’ says the following, then you just need to pass all of your classes and make sure that you do not get into any trouble and you’ll be fine. No GPA requirement is mentioned.

“Please remember that your admission is contingent upon verification of official
academic records, satisfactory completion of course work, and avoidance of
academic and behavioral misconduct.”

my stars audit still has the date from when I first logged in :(…soooo anxious!!

@HopeForMarshall, Dornsife Psych
@stanx89, on the bottom of the letter, it said I have an “additional condition of academic performance,” in whichI have to get a 3.5 in spring. It seems like it’s just me and maybe some other people haha

@scahopeful no it has stuff, its just all the entries are blank and it was last updated on may 20
