<p>To those who intend to enroll at USC this fall:
Have any of you tried to join the USC Fall 2014 Transfer group on Facebook? I’m still waiting to be accepted into the group. As @whamson mentioned, it would be great to start getting to know more transfers before we get there.
Also, have any of you figured out your orientation date? As soon as my enrollment deposit is processed, I’m going to register for the July 15th orientation. Let me know if any of you are planning on registering for the same date!</p>

<p>@sielburt I decided to lag on my enrollment deposit and finally got to it last week (accepted awhile ago). How fast do you think the dates are going to fill up? I’m planning to attend the July 15th orientation as well since I’m on the quarter system and won’t be able to make the June one.</p>
<p>@olo59u if you’ve paid your enrollment deposit on USC connect, you can click on the intent to enroll box and the pop up shows a link to register for orientation. </p>
<p>@spiffyboi I’m going to register ASAP just in case spots fill up fast. The notification I got after I sent in my deposit said I have to wait a minimum of 48hrs upon receipt of the deposit until I can register for orientation. At this point, I’m for sure attending the one on July 15th. I can’t make the one in June either.</p>

<p>@olo59u do you remember getting an email from USC shortly after admissions received your application? That email gives you specific instructions about how to sign into USC connect. You should enter the email you wrote down for all USC correspondence. You’ll also be able to reset your password to login once you get to the page. <p>@sielburt when i click on the orientation link it sends me to a uscnet login page where my email does not work for some reason. i can sign on to usc connect just fine but i don’t know about the orientation page</p>

<p>Has anyone admitted to SCA, or even the other schools, received a separate letter in the mail requiring an electronic confirmation form to be submitted by June 9th for official admittance to your specific school and major? </p>
<p>I applied housing right on the same day I got my offer cause I know it’s very competitive, and the housing department responded quite fast, to my surprise. I’ve already been assigned to a room thought it’s not my first choice:P</p>
<p>@Clordia when did you apply? I got accepted May 1 and applied the same day but I haven’t heard anything back </p>
<p>@Clordia That happened to me, too. I didn’t receive housing remotely close to my choices but they assigned me within 24 hours of submitting the application. </p>

<p>@Clordia I also applied right after I received my offer and got assigned to my second choice. I’m pretty happy with it though. </p>
<p>@olo59u Yeah, it was oddly fast. I guess it depends on the compatibility of roommates in rooms with spots they need to fill more than what your top choices are. </p>
<p>@Stark42 Yes, I received a folder/letter from the School of Cinematic Arts telling me to put down an electronic confirmation email by June 6, but I have yet to receive that email. I will continue to call them and see what’s going on. (I already emailed them last week, but no answer!)</p>
