@xsayax Interesting. I know it’s not all based on FAFSA but it seems like it plays at least a 40% role in all this

@Eilrymist You might be one of the lucky few who hears good news by the end of the week. If I remember correctly, one of the transfer applicant didn’t receive an SGR and received an acceptance on about the first week of June. I wouldn’t know the exact date because the thread just shows it as June. Goodluck!!

Wow thats great!! You’ll definitely get in for sure. With both parents legacys, I’m surprised you didn’t just get accepted. Well I went out of state my first year, and it was great in a lot of ways, but made me realize i wanted to be back in ca. I was one year at sbcc, and earned three AA degrees for whatever that will get me, and I just wanted to have fun and a little more balance. So… I did. Anyways I’m happy. Though when people are saying that got all A’s and one B and now they think they won’t get in, I’m like well then I’m screwed Anyways, I’m also excited to be back in a sorority either way at usc or ucsb; and, I’m just ready for a decision already!! I’ll be a jr transfer, & depending on how many credits they take , with about 88 credits.

@5nonnegotiables I did the same thing! I went out of state this year but nothing is better than CA. Where did you go your first year?

@USCTransfer28

Agreed! I was in Washington. How about you?

@5nonnegotiables I went all the way to Rhode Island. It was for sports but didn’t like it as much as I thought I would

@USCTransfer28
So where are you going now… still RI? What sport? Are you going to sill play next year? What’s your backup plan?

Ya, I also think the lack of sunshine was an issue for me.

@5nonnegiotables cool cool ill be back in greek life as well! been a slow year at home to say the least haha

If … I end up getting offered spring admission, which wouldn’t be ideal, and id hate to miss football season…I sill have a possible Chargers Internship back at home, through January I could take so that wouldn’t be so bad, or I could study abroad. What would you do if you got a spring admit?

I sent in my final spring grades this week after getting a SGR, and today my STARS and Interactive Report was finally filled out (or i’m actually able to see stuff and not a blank box).

Still waiting on decision though!

@stayfly you sent in your grades what day? That is quick!! That is awesome! I sent last Thursday and haven’t heard anything. Now Im losing hope. Does your usc connect still show SGr in msgs or is it gone? Mine still shows. Did u upload or drop off? Sounds like u r in!

I believe I submitted it on Friday!
and yes, it still shows to upload me transcript (but I did it twice just in case). Like I said, still no acceptance/rejection yet though.

@stayfly1 ok thx, well i feel a little better. i uploaded twice also and called today to confirm. yay! I think you r in. Seems like most people who have that update get accepted I just got rejected from appeal at ucla today, so hopefully I hear good news soon from usc… Otherwise I’m off to ucsb.

Well, finger crossed for the both of us! (:

A lot of SGRed people are saying they got accepted before they sent in their spring grades…
Can someone respond to this?
What is the point of sending an SGR, USC, if you are going to accept someone without it anyways? What’s with all the anxiety you’re causing us???

@5nonnegotiables Hey when did you send in your UCLA appeal?

@fightonusc1

Ok so in the fine print it says that you have till maybe 11:45 pm on 5/15 to make any changes and submit. So I don’t think they would start to reconsider till the 16th at the earliest. So I submitted then on the 15th because I made a final edit that day. Did u appeal too?

@5nonnegotiables ah I see. And yes. Ucla did not note that I was TAP certified in my application… Appealing based on that

Uh, guys, what if I can see my STARS report, but not the STARS IAR?

@fightonusc1 I think that is compelling to overturn appeal. Good luck! Is that your 1st choice?
