@iloveasianguys I didn’t get an email telling me to check. I did get a decision in regular mail and also connect , just like admissions told u. I didn’t get an email about my admissions decision or to tell me to check connect. I just kept checking connect, like a crazy person… Lol. Anyways… Good luck, and 1684909228 lose hope, still 11 days.

@5nonnegotiables did you find out through usconnect first or regular mail? on usconnect the pdf did it say the time that it was posted? did the decision on usconnect come out same time as you received your regular mail? and thanks…i’ll try but as of right now…i’m just preparing for the worse O.o

my parents are really upset that they have not told me by now bc they have to fix their sched for aug and i don’t know where i am going to school so if i do get into usc i need someone to help me move in lol

hey also for those of you who got in did you check the financial aid part on usconnect? does it have a green checkmark because (i’m guessing here) if i get in there would be a checkmark but if not it will still remain to the yellow clock (as it is now…)

@iloveasianguys I saw on connect first and then got mail a few days later. I’ve also saw on here when someone who also got accepted who got mail and no PDF. I called the other day because my transfer credits were not evaluated and they said they are just trying to get decisions out by the deadline at this point and will get everything else all sorted out after and before your orientation.

@5nonnegotiables oh okay. oh really? that’s interesting. oh okay so the last statement is like saying that i may just get the decision in the mail and everything else (like financial aid or even a pdf of my decision or oasis update) might not even show up?

Ten more days. We can do this.

Reading everyone’s posts is reminding me of the time I was waiting until the June 3 deadline, I don’t know if I would have made it this far.

I’m going to have a drink for all of you that are still waiting. Not one for each though. Just one cumulative light beer or glass of red wine. Not sure what the mood calls for. ;))

Gin & Tonic over here! I’m on #3. Cheers! @HopeForMarshall

Ugh why must they take so long? So many of my friends have been asking me if I’ve gotten in yet & I keep feeling them that I don’t know yet.

I would full out go crazy bawling if I don’t get in after having waited so long. But since it’s taking forever my hopes are slowly diminishing…looks like another year at community college

@Saywhatter stay positive. I was feeling the same way a few wks ago. They wouldn’t say decisions come out by the 15th unless they are still deciding and looking at available available spots. So… Unless you get a letter saying you didnt get in, then you still have a chance.

@dmdwelle Since I’m from Long Beach, I would have been drinking a Gin and Juice LOL. I hope you have good news soon!

Is it true that the new student orientation day is on July 15th?

@cidzor Yes, but there is another orientation on July 25 for transfers that is still open. The catch is that you have to register for it by July 15. Maybe thats one reason they said they will inform SGRs by then. If you miss the orientations, then you can request materials via post and you will be allowed to register for classes after the last orientation day. The sorry thing about that is that students who attend orientation get priority over those who “request materials.”

This is our week guys! Good luck!

@gabbyrrr I’m not holding my breath. Mid-July could be interpreted as July 30th, so I’m just going to plan on that and then be pleasantly surprised if I hear back earlier.

But yes, good luck to all!

@dmdwelle I think USC stated many times that all decisions are to be made on or before July 15th. So by next monday all should hear back.

@dmdwelle haha that’s one way to look at it! I’m so excited to get some closure. Never thought I was actually going to be forced to wait this long.

@rodioneng I sincerely hope that you’re right! However, nobody at USC has given me a firm date nor have I seen one published. So as I said, I’m not holding my breath. It’s not worth setting myself up for that disappointment. I’ll find out when I find out, I’ve made peace with that.

@dmdwelle I know two students who received SGRs last year. Decisions for both were made before the 15th.

@saywhatter I agree! You have to stay positive!! and I recently read through last years thread and a lot of people were still being accepted in mid July and I only saw one person who had waited and been rejected so hopefully we will all get in! whether it is for spring or fall or anything. Only about 1 more week

@rodioneng do you have like a particular date or range? like around the 10th or something lol (in response to the 2 ppl who got sgr)
