Speaking of the diversity requirement, I know it says intro to sociology satisfies that requirement, but I took a sociology of gender course this semester, would that satisfy it as well?

@NCXfer what I would do is google “USC articulation agreement”. Pull that up, then enter your school’s name under the drop down list and then go through and find the diversity requirement and check to see what classes transfer and what don’t. This is what one of the officer’s at USC Admissions told me to do.

I know usc says we will receive our decisions by June first but when do they usually start sending the admission decisions out?

@NCXfer I think it’s best to check like wdemasters02 says. For my community college, it says that our race/ethnic relations or american social problems sociology classes also meet the requirement.

Here is the link @NCXfer <a href=“USC-Articulation Agreement”>Error;

Good luck!

If I want to transfer as a junior to the marshall school of business, and I’m currently taking my first calc course and I don’t pass, will I still be able to transfer? as a sophomore at least because I finished all the requirements of accounting and econ and english?

do we need to send the mid year report? I have read somewhere that transfer students don’t need to, but USCONNECT says we can?

Does anyone know how getting admitted for Spring semester works?

@wdemasters02 Thanks for that link! I’m in a CC in North Carolina and had no idea the two schools had any articulation history. The course didn’t show up, but does that mean it for sure won’t transfer? Isn’t it just kind of a grey area? Like under diversity, it only lists one sociology class. That’s all.

@TonyStark93 I know they offer very few applicants a spot in the Spring semester (like 50-100?) They’re usually the last acceptances that get sent out as all the best applicants got accepted for the fall. You also have the option of taking the fall semester off at your current institution if you wish although they’d like you to complete any if not all pre-reqs before attending. Spring admission isn’t great, but it beats the hell out of a rejection.

I am applying for Viterbi Engineering as a transfer student. There’s no sgr for me, is this a bad sign? :/

Guys a lot (not all) of the questions you are asking have already been answered before, in the past few pages just fyi…

@squashbanana Around the end of May for decisions, early May or possibly late April for most SGR’s.

@EvanSamuel2404 No, most people have not heard back yet, it’s too early, don’t worry.

@randombookie No, ignore that

@transfercrazyy No, calculus is a required course to transfer. If they accept you and you failed your offer could be rescinded, and if you get an SGR then you would rejected. You might be able to get into your 2nd choice major though. But you have to keep satisfactory grades to transfer so if you fail any courses you still could have offer of admission rescinded, or rejected if you get an SGR.

Whoops that post was supposed to be @randombookie not sure why it separated it…

@xsayax, thank you for the info!

hey guys, i received “winter grades update” request, should i just upload a copy of an official transcript onto USC connect or should i mail it to them , please help and thanks a lot

My thoughts exactly @xsayax

Even if it does not say specifically to mail the official grades, go ahead and mail them anyway to avoid the chance of having to send them again.

When do people start posting college stats?

Hey everybody!

I applied as a transfer student to USC for Marshall but I have a bit of a problem. I was part of an honors society “AGS” and it has yet to be on my transcript for my memorabilia. I spoke about the service hours I did for the requirements of AGS in one of my USC writing supplements, so it makes it look bad that the seal isn’t there. I emailed the head of our organization and it still has yet to be there. What should I do? Should I make a note under “Additional info” on CONNECT? Or should I leave it be? Do you think this will play a factor in the admission process? Or should I wait to see if they give me SGR because I’m sure it will be on there by then.

Also, My CONNECt hasn’t really changed since they received all my required documents, anyone else have this? Thanks so much guys! I’ve been following this thread since Fall!
