Same! my financial aid said everything is in tact and it’s in review @trnsfrstdnt @1hellohello1
@1hellohello1 same
I didn’t get an email either, but all of my financial aid info has been sent in
Didn’t get the email, I did all my financial aid paperwork and apps already
Do they sent decisions out over weekends? Or only weekdays?
And have most Dornsife decisions been released yet? I am getting worried I still haven’t gotten anything…
@TonyStark93 I think they release decisions on weekdays
How common is an offer for spring admission?
@anamazing from last years thread spring admission was pretty common, a lot of people who got SGRs and who heard back in mid July were admitted for spring.
Ive been lurking on this thread for awhile and decided to make an account…Im a junior prospective for Marshall and havent heard anything…really worried now. If I get rejected ill probably just off myself right then and there
@Youngprodigy603 same
Why Viterbi applicants are always the last ones to receive info??? i am so xxxxing nervous
I got the Financial Aid email just before my math exam and it just made me 10x more anxious for the exam lol. Pretty sure it doesn’t mean anything, but my heart went off when I saw that I had an email from USC in my inbox.
@Youngprodigy603 I’m also in the same situation
For the record, I’m going to say that it’s probably a HUGE stretch to say that this financial aid email has anything to do with admissions. These are two very separate departments and USC often states that financial aid is completely separate from admissions.
I recall getting a similar email last year, but I believe it was because I was holding off on the CSS (I think it’s called that) profile data. I remember getting all excited too when I saw it then. I didn’t get any financial aid email today though, but I did finish everything quicker this year. But who knows if it means anything?
@zettasyntax Right, it likely has no barring on admissions similar to Oasis login. USC seems to keep everything under wraps pretty well until you officially get your decision.
@1mHello1m I got the email to. I submitted Fafsa, CSS, and everything a while ago though. My application says it’s in review, but in the financial aid section it is asking for my 2014 tax info.
.
@justamuggle I am in the same situation as you are. I think they sent out these emails to people who are missing something. Nothing really serious haha
any SGR’d applicants got a final decision yet?
Hi, I just got an admission letter from USC.
But, I got admission as econ major… ( my first choice was Business and second choice was econ )
I was wondering if there is a way I can get into USC as business major.
In the letter, they said “However, if you wish, you may also contact the department of your first-choice major to explore the possibility of entry into that.”
Please help me guys!!
