I just called USC’s admissions office in regards to my transfer application and was told that my file was complete.
I proceeded to ask the lady on the phone if an admission decision has been made for me and the response I got was “All I can tell you is that letters come out next week”
Is this a possible sign of rejection?
Can anyone possible call in to confirm if this is a universal answer?
Marshall applicant from UC
GPA: 3.5
Units completed: 77 (Applied with 60)
Units in progress: 13
@jasmine2468 : The SCA acceptance letter is dated 5/15 and was received 5/19 by mail. @filmbuff24 : Critical Studies was my first choice major. I applied just before the Feb 1st deadline. @itsconnord : I live in the Los Angeles area, relatively close to USC. Good luck to everyone!
Even if they did have access, they still cannot tell you because it would not be fair to others not knowing their admissions decision before it is released. Everyone should have the right, then.
If nothing new happens this week, it’s going to get CRAZY next week in this thread! Also I really feel like some of us will receive a decision this Friday.
Just waiting for one more grade to be posted so far I have a 4.0, the last class will be either an A or a B (pretty sure an A though ) this is CAT V fromUSC requirements … @poisonx how do I go about sending spring grades. , I was SGR for Marshal in April 28 , the letter said it would have special instructions for expedited processing but it didn’t im guessing they forgot to include it or something.
Called admissions again to see if I could get a different answer (lol) and this time I did. Spoke with someone who said that all SGR’d applicants will hear by June 1 which I find hard to believe…
@justamuggle I just tried, and it allowed me to log in. I am trying to do this thing where I don’t read into every little thing because then I get really superstitious lol but I am not sure if this is a good sign or not. I haven’t been SGR’d and I am not able to log into OASIS, so it could be just another glitch in the system.
As prestigious of a university that USC is, you would think their admissions office would be more consistent with information. Same goes for financial aid. You talk to different people and get a different answer. Doesn’t make sense.
@jucery13 If you got an SGR the pdf on you.usc portal will not have the instructions for you to send your grades to USC. but you should have received a letter in the mail with the instructions.
@Hafmanhafmazin on youSC it says mine will be sent first via postal mail. I think that’s how they are all going to be but I guess some people have received their decisions differently
Should we submit our official transcript for SGR through mail or electronically on you.usc.edu (unofficial transcript though)? Or should we just send in both?
If we don’t get an SGR should we send grades anyways? I got a 4.0 this semester(compared to 2.1 my first semester) so I think it could only benefit me.
Hello! So for oasis for USC are we supposed to put the -? What is our password supposed to be? Hope everyone is as eager as I am to find out if they got in!
