Hi, Viterbi applicant here. On the Trojan Transfer Plan. Applied to Mechanical Engineering. Got SGR today.
@summertime123 your stats are almost exactly similar to mine! I’m an Annenberg PR major and have a 3.5! It’s so nerve wrecking since I also have all but 2 categories done on the USC transfer articulation:/ I will have a 3.7 after this semester after straight A’s and I also have no W’s! Hoping for the best for both of us

@collegebeans Hey what address did you sen your transcripts to? I just realized that, I sent it to the same address I used when applying, but I just checked the Spring Grade Request Letter and it had a different address.
@chunkymonkey29 I’m not I applied to Dornsife for Psych! He’s pretty cool I talked to him on the phone regarding the SGR and how to submit grades, he seemed nice haha
Hey guys, I am rising senior at USC Marshall. I transferred here from Santa Monica College last year and I remember checking this same site every 20 minutes for weeks straight looking for a sign. I had a 3.54 GPA, no crazy extra curricular but some good essays i’d like to think. I didn’t get notified about my acceptance until the VERY end of May. I was planning to put the $800 deposit at BU the next day. Don’t worry, the mail will come. Those Oasis glitches or whatever else kind of voodoo signs everyone looks for to hint to them USC’s decisions are meaningless. This isn’t National Treasure and there isn’t any hidden clues or formula. Any questions, feel free to ask. Good luck, and fight on!
Hey guys, I’m a sophomore Viterbi applicant on the TTP. I don’t really have an update, but my OASIS restrictions date changed today. Didn’t someone say that that meant a decision had been made, accept or denial, not SGR? It at least means Viterbi is kicking into action, good luck everyone.
edit: I’m also at a quarter system school so I’m not sure how that affects me. My counselor is also Jesse Rueter, he’s been nice and very helpful to me.

@RAHforHEE thanks for the insight. I haven’t posted much on here but from following the thread and others, it’s a nerve wracking situation. As you may know, anxiety and nerves are sometimes uncontrollable. You don’t need to give a lesson. I’m sure you’d also want to know as soon as possible if you weren’t already accepted. Relax.
@SCAstrojan @anamazing @lazevike Thank you guys for the Viterbi update. I’m pretty confident Viterbi will be hearing decisions next week, probably after Monday since it’s Memorial day (mail doesn’t get sent on Memorial day, right?).

When did all you guys and gals decide that you wanted to go to USC? When did you know it was the place for you?
Damn this upcoming week is going to be insane.
Gotta finalize my decision and send in my SIR to UC and at the same time wait for a decision to come out of USC.

For those of you who got in, does it say conditional on getting a 3.5 in your last semester? I heard some people have that in their acceptance letter, but not sure if it applies to everyone.
@SCAstrojan I love everything about USC. The fact that it’s extremely competitive with great academics, a large private school with small class sizes (you aren’t just another number like at some public universities), the amazing alumni network that’s really second to none, and finally because I’m a CS major and USC is very very active in the local LA and southern California tech economy.
USC is the only school I can see myself staying connected to or contributing to or being a part of in some way after I graduate. I strongly identify with the 5 Trojan traits, and this paired with USC’s strong focus on community, I feel that I would relate very well with other Trojans.
