hey future trojans! I’ve been reading this page for a while but haven’t joined the conversation. I have a pretty unique situation my dad is a USC professor and I already live on campus due to my dad’s job. I applied for Dornsife Sociology and haven’t heard anything! No SGR…nothing! It’s torture! Especially living here already. I’m applying as a junior from Santa Monica College with a 3.8. I know this process is super scary for all of us, try not to freak out til June 1st lol! I can answer any question about campus, living on campus, the neighborhood, house, etc. Take care!

@transfergirl0006 Where would you recommend living for us transfer students? AFAIK we won’t get guaranteed on campus housing, so if I get accepted I’m not sure where I would live. Would living downtown kill the “college experience” if I were to be admitted? Thank you!!

@mlusikyan You will get the instructions in the mail. It took 3 days for me to get it in the mail.
I can tell you the information if you want to send the transcripts ASAP and not wait for another couple days.
You can upload an electronic copy of it on the portal. And if you want to mail it to them this is the address. It is better to upload a copy and then mail the official one as soon as you can. Good luck!!!

Hi guys. I don’t know if I exactly got SGR’d bc when I got my letter, it didn’t have any specific instructions to send in my spring grades. The letter was along the lines of “we have missing documentation: spring transcript. Please send these in ASAP.” Is this an SGR?
@jucery13 I sent mine to that address first. And it seems like they got it. But I sent it on that other address as soon as I got the letter in the mail for the sake of sending it their way

Both mail and portal. They both said the same thing.
Just received my acceptance packet this morning The letter was printed yesterday. I’m so happy!!!
In case you’re wondering, I applied as a Computer Science major with a 3.78 GPA. They requested my Winter grades, where my overall GPA rose to a 3.81. Transfer from Cal Poly Pomona.
