@SCAstrojan OASIS only doesn’t mean anything in the context of being able to login. Some people last year couldn’t login but still got accepted. That said I think it is a good sign if your STARS report fills out, but if anyone doesn’t have their STARS or can’t login to OASIS, it doesn’t mean you won’t be admitted AFAIK.
Basically, there are no “bad” indicators, only good.
Hey guys, I got SGRed for USC Price on 4/28. I managed a 4.0 this semester leaving me at about a 3.8. However, 4 of my units this semester I did CR/NC - do you think that matters? Counting the CR/NC class I have 33 units and without I’m at 29.
hahah thanks dude! I had a 2.8 freshmen year but I got it up to a 3.2. But I messed up on my science/computer classes even thought I want to be a quan. econ major now. So I feel like that is killing me…
@jucery13 I emailed my counselor today and I’ll let you know what she says! I have a feeling that they got the transcript but haven’t had the time to update the portal because they were in a conference this week but it’s better to be safe than sorry
@marinersfan13 What’s your major? When did you get a SGR, when did you send it ? and what was your GPA this semester. Lol it almost sounds like I’m conducting an interview or something, but I’m super paranoid, since I got 1 B this semester, my GPA was 3.76 this semester last semester I got a 4.0, i hope they don’t see it as a downwards grade trend, However my cumulative gap went from 3.71 to 3.73
@UCorUSC92 I’m a CS applicant in the Bay Area so I hope hope hope a big envelope has started making its way and I’ll know on Tuesday after the long weekend! Nice stats and congrats again!!
if your major is relatively uncommon, do you think an acceptance is easier to obtain? ex. I applied as a global studies major and i do not see or know of many global studies major
@jucery13 I’m a business major, got my SGR on May 5th and sent my transcript on May 14th. My GPA this semester was a 3.77 and I got a 3.70 the semester before so I have a 3.73 cumulative GPA. I’m sure they won’t mind the downward grade trend too much as long as you get around their 3.70 average GPA for transfers. But with holistic admissions you really never know. Good luck to you!
