@SCAstrojan Even if, we all know the best Universities are based in United States thus is why so many international students want to study here. A top 50 university in the world is still a really good ranking. In the end, it’s not the school that’s going to get you a job, it’s the students skills that’ll get them that job. A university is just there to teach you how to think and “prepare” you for the real world.
@lordfx lol not really sure why you’re trying to belittle USC to a bunch of USC hopefuls, but you should take your global rankings to a thread that is actually worried about them. please and thank you.

Coming from the same source that says USC is in the top 25 in the nation… Higher than than UC’s (besides Berkeley and la like I said before). If USC isn’t internationally prestigious, why are 77 different countries represented in the student body? Also, you probably shouldn’t be posting on a USC transfer thread of people who are nervously waiting their admission decision to a school that IS fairly prestigious (quite-nervewrecking) and telling them that the school isn’t even that good. Find another thread that isn’t full of people who dream of going to this school.
@YoGabbaGabby96 What major did you apply for and when did you send you unofficial? I am currently trying to estimate when i’ll here back from USC.I applied for business as first choice and psych as second choice.
@jucery13 I applied for psychology, so Dornsife. I sent my unofficial transcript a while ago, about 2 weeks ago. I think its highly likely we will hear back end of this week or next week. I just can’t wait to be honest, I flat out asked my counselor when I would hear back and he said in a week or so 
I just wish they’d let me know now
@YoGabbaGabby96 You’re so lucky to have even gotten a hint from your counselor of when you’ll hear back! Some people send in their spring grades and wait everyday until july 15 not knowing when they will hear back.
I just sent my counselor an email asking the same question. Hopefully she responds. She tends to not reply sometimes.
if you get SGR’ed and get a 4.0 does that mean you’d have a good chance of getting in? like i had photo100 ( Gen ed category 5) a first year seminar in business(prolly won’t transfer) a chinese level 2(recommended) Marketing 301(major i wanna get in to although I’m only on 41 credits so therefore a first year) and statistics 200(requirement for current business college)?? someone tell me!!!

@poisonx I find that my counselor replies rather quickly, it may be because it was near 5. I think the counselors work 9-5pm. Im super paranoid about the time frame i was given though, I just want in!! :((
@jucery13 I have Jesse Reuter! He’s pretty cool, always answered calls and emails really quickly!
For SGR, you need to send in your SGR by June 30 latests. They will give you an answer by Mid-July latest. If you send in your SGR earlier, then you will probably get an answer earlier.

@Poisonx @YoGabbaGabby96 I really hope I get a respond around June 1st as well, I submitted my grades on May 23rd (got my SGR on April 29, in case it makes a difference) However I do live like in LA so I wonder if that means a speeder response???
The only reason I say that is because I’ve read in the previous years threads that they release the decision online based on when your acceptance package will arrive, they supposedly estimate the delivery so your USC portal updates the same day.

I’m a hopeful transfer student and am also still waiting to hear back. So has anyone even heard of anyone else receiving a rejection notice yet?
@juicery13 I live in LA also! I think it might mean a faster response because I received my SGR in the mail I think it was the day or the day after printed on the SGR letter.
Jeez, no new news in the USC transfer decisions thread today…
A lot of people started hearing back and getting rejected this week from last year’s thread. So some of us should have some closure this week. Good Luck guys and let’s hope for the best
