@tak9usc under check application status. The generic SGR note is gone and is replaced by this: (paraphrase btw) “we have all your documents and expect to meet our deadline of June 1st”
My portal was updated today that they got my grades when my school sent me an email a few days ago that they received it. I emailed them if they got it and then it was updated.
Annenberg applicant here. Called admissions, as I’ve been curious about the June 1st decision date, since I’m on the east cost (mail takes a little longer). Got their generic “I can only tell you that your application is complete”. She said that I will find out by June 1st. I was confused about that since it would take the mail sometime to get here. In addition, she also said that when the decision is mailed out, the portal is updated and I won’t have to wait for the mail in that case.
For people who have been admitted for Fall, when is the deadline for committing and giving in the deposit?
I am already thinking of the appeal process and planning it out. Ready for the worst to hit me anytime

What about the students who are still waiting for a decision?
I didn’t get SGR or acceptance… most likely headed for a rejection.
I called admissions today and she said “All i can tell you a decision has been made. You’ll recieve a letter by the end of the month.”
Am I reading too much into it because if she said LETTER and not PACKAGE that means rejection??

My Oasis restriction was updated yesterday
and my “stars report” has all my transfer course work uploaded on to it.
I’m freaking out. has this meant anything in the past?

I just had my restrictions updated and my stars report updated as well. My transfer coursework hasn’t been put in yet though. anyone know what this means

Abviously i’ve been nervous about my GPA. But i felt really confident in my essays and extracurricular activities. I also have an internship under my belt and work with a company in DTLA.

yeah the password is MM/DD/YY and your USC ID.
Not everyone has access to it and not being able to access to it does not mean rejection. People with no access have been accepted and people with access have been rejected. The only thing that might be an accurate indication is the stars report being filled out, that is if you can log in to see it.

So, I just saw that USC Transfer Merit Scholarships are out… How about for the people who got SGR? I’m elligble for a Merit Scholarship, but I got a SGR on May 1… Also Did other people who got a SGR send in Unofficial Transcript? My Counselor at USC told me that they can’t give an admissions decision until they get an Official Transcript.
