Just got rejected. Marshall applicant with 3.56 GPA and 66 units.
@jucery13 yup, I completed the course with a B during the spring semester, I thought I would at least get an SGR but hey, there’s always next year!

For those rejected did you all get letters in the mail today or did you find out on yousc ?
@forevergymnast21 wow did you have the writing requirement completed? I find it extremely odd That’a they didn’t SGR you. Why not appeal? The fight isn’t over yet

@treetreetree It seems like most of them found out in the mail. So sad; today is filled with nothing but bad news.
@treetreetree I got a letter in the mail, nothing was updated on YouSC for me. Also, not sure if this will help anyone, I had access to OASIS and my restrictions changed on April 28th, and my STARS report never updated, so I just wanted to put that out there in case it helps someone or anything.
My restriction updated on 5/21 is that a good or bad thing? It’s really hard to know this year, nothing is consistent
@jucery13 I completed the writing requirements too, haha yeah I found it weird that I didn’t get an SGR since I completed the requirements for my major as well as a lot of the GE’s. I was thinking about appealing but I’m not sure if it will really do much since they probably have a pretty good reason for their decision. I will probably call the admissions office on Monday and see if they can tell me what I can do to improve my chances for next year or something.
@treetreetree did you get an SGR or did you send in any documents around the 21st?
I sent in Spring grades about 2-3 weeks ago! I don’t recall the exact date but it was a while ago. SGR was dated May 1st. I’m a (hopefully) soon to be Sophmore at USC. Applied as Psych but i might change it.
GPA 3.73
Not sure how many units transfer but i had about 31 units done

@usc4mepls when did you restrictions change? Also, did you call the office on Thursday and ask if your decision was mailed ?
@treetreetree my restrictions changed 5/27 and my stars was updated the next morning. I never called the office of admission bc I didn’t wana bother them haha. But I emailed them about them receiving my transcript and I got an email responding to mine that said they made their decision after getting my unofficial, that’s when I checked my stars!
No nothing. it was set to a date in jan than changed to that and I called thurs and the man said as of that day it was mailed so that was the 28th
@treetreetree I had an address change they were updating for me as of yesterday so that’s why I anticipate getting it Monday or later because they updated my address yesterday for mailing reasons

It’s official!!! Just got the yellow packet in the mail 15 minutes ago. Will post my stats in the decisions thread later today!
