@ForeverGymnast21 Are you allowed to call the admissions office and figure out why you were rejected? I think they should be able to give you some specifics.
Did everyone who got accepted so far receive an e-mail from financial aid before receiving the acceptance letter? It seems as if that’s also an indication towards acceptance.
Anyone here know how easy it is to switch majors within Viterbi after being admitted? I’m admitted to Mechanical for the fall and I’m contemplating switching to Electrical. I have the pre reqs for both majors completed.
@UCorUSC92 That will not be a problem at all, it is very easy to switch within the school of engineering. Just fill out a few pieces of paper and bam, you’re done.

Got accepted to Berkeley, LA, San diego and Santa barbara
Finish all prereq classes.
Missing two semester of foreign languages and two categories classes. I dont remember which one.
Not sure about my essays if its strong or not but I used the same one when I applied for UCs.
Math tutor at my CC since started.
Member in two Honor society.

@jamiethuy la and Berkeley are still like crazy good schools!!! I know getting rejected hurts but hey you are going very far and should be proud! Plus bio is a hard major!
Hi everyone! I got admitted to USC, but unfortunately did not get into my first choice major… I was hoping to be a Communications major at Annenberg but got into International Relations (global business). I know that in IR you can specialize in “global marketing” ( I’m hoping to get a career in marketing) Does anyone know if the IR major would be well suited for pursing a degree in marketing?
@UCorUSC92 N, not anyone personally. Viterbi has a Q&A YouTube channel, and a few of the videos are related to transfer students. Someone asked about switching majors and the associate director said it is not an issue at all to change majors within the college of engineering.
I guess I either hear back on Monday or wait till the end of June.
@jamiethuy Wow rejected with a 4.0 GPA… That’s scary, but congrats on Berkeley! UCB is basically a public ivy.
Rejected Viterbi Industrial Engineering. Marked May 27th. Honestly, quite surprised I wasn’t admitted but fight on. Good luck other applicants, may the odds be in your favor
No access to oasis, no spring grade request, no rejection letter or acceptance in the mail either. Junior applicant. I live in northern ca (4hour drive from la), I literally have no idea what’s going on. Feeling sick to my stomach with anxiety.
