No Oasis access, no email, no change on the portal except the request. Im in L.A.

Can anyone who got a SGR let me know approximately how long it took to get your decision?
@sunita18 It depends. There is no fixed date. I have friends who heard back in 2 weeks after being SGRed.And a friend who waited till Mid July after being SGRed. Some people from last year’s thread heard back in 1 week, some in 3 and some in 1 month.

@tobyandthecrew Yup, I even recall last minute SGRs(which really must suck after waiting so long!) Any kind of decision is still possible. It may not be the case, but it seemed like last year, for whatever reason, rejections were the most common decision type on the final day =\

Guys what happens if you get an SGR and you didn’t take any classes for Spring semester?
Would that be an automatic rejection?
@TonyStark93 I would assume so, why didn’t you take any classes Spring semester? That seems like a poor choice unless you can explain it to USC.

I also got my rejection today. I have a 4.0 from a ccc. However, I had many w’s in my past. I had applied to world health undergrad at USC keck school of medicine.

Well guys! Just got a call from my old dorm and they said I received a big gold package from USC undergraduate admissions!!!
Got my acceptance package this afternoon in the mail!!! Still in shock! Nothing updated on my portal, I was SRG’d on May 22nd, sent my grades in on May 26th and received my acceptance 4 days later, which I think is pretty uncommon so it took me by surprise!!! so excited and don’t give up #FightOn
@sc193874 Congrats!! Do you mind sharing your Spring semester gpa? I received an SGR as well this semester but due to certain circumstances I don’t I will be able to pull a 4.0 
Does anyone know the reasoning as to why some applicants are straight up rejected instead of being given a SGR?
@trialo Same reasons why anyone else will get rejected from another school.
