Rejected, updated via portal assuming around midnight. Dated May 27th:/ I am a junior applicant from CA CC communications major, 3.6 GPA, 48 units completed, I know I barely had any USC transfer requirements done but I thought I’d give it a shot anyways! Good luck everyone!

Hi guys! I got my golden ticket in the mail today! (Started crying of happiness when I opened it!) So excited to be a part of the Trojan family! Accepted as a sophomore transfer, Marshall School of Business. Can’t wait! Here are my stats, if they help any of you guys out:

Got SGR, sent in my grades on May 21.
3.83 spring semester GPA (higher than my fall semester GPA) averaged out 3.7 total GPA
2 letters of rec
Tons of EC’s and some good work experience relevant to my major, as well as work experience not related to my major
Tutored university students in Spanish (all levels)
Fluent in 3 languages
Lived abroad and took university classes in France at La Sorbonne
Also, my portal just updated tonight! I am so beyond excited and I can’t wait! Congratulations to everyone who got accepted, and to those still waiting to hear back, don’t stress too much (I know it’s easier said than done haha). Best of luck to all of you and feel free to ask me any questions!

@poisonx Thank you! I’m not totally sure exactly at what time, but I checked at 12:20 am and it had been updated; when I checked at 7pm it hadn’t been updated yet. So I would say most likely midnight!
Hey guys, quick question. I logged into my oasis today and I think that my “completed course summary” looks different than it did before. My restrictions changed two days ago so is this a good sign? If someone whose restrictions didn’t change or who was rejected could tell me what theirs looks like that would be great. Thanks!

Hey everyone! Unfortunately, I was rejected from Annenberg! 
Communications Major. 3.5 GPA, 71 units completed, all reqs completed including diversity and 3 semesters of language. Attended El Camino College in Torrance, CA. Lots of extracurriculars and two internships. This is so disappointing. I was rejected last year too, but I have 5 W’s, withdrew one whole semester (my first semester) when I was working as a bank teller full-time & my manager fired 3 people, so I had to work overtime & couldn’t keep up with school. So I don’t think USC liked the fact that I had 5 W’s. Last year I applied as a broadcast journ. major, but wasn’t aware that they don’t consider you if you have over 36 units. Also, I believe I had strong essays & had 3 letters of rec. I’m so bummed! On the bright side, I already SIR’ed at Long Beach & will most likely be going there, but I have always had my heart set at USC, hence why I reapplied & turned down other private schools & the University of Miami, on scholarship, last year. Not sure if I should appeal or not but if I do, any advice would be appreciated.
Oh, my portal was updated today, but is dated for May 27th. PS, I wasted so much money on the financial aid apps & sending transcripts from 3 schools for both years, let alone the time. I’m crying. But I’m trying to be positive & know that at least I have a back up at Long Beach (CSULB).

I just got accepted to USC! But I still haven’t heard from financial aid. Does anyone know how hard it is to graduate in two year for Marshall? I have all GE requirements done, but I am just afraid that It will be hard to graduate on time and having to pay a lot more

Just got rejected…AGAIN. It was updated through the portal and it says sent on May 28th, 2015, but when I open the letter they used the exact same rejection letter from last year and didn’t change the date (still dated May 2014) or address…???
My Portal was updated, so if you were accepted and it wasn’t updated, it might be now.
They should make a TV drama called Admitted or something and have be all about college admissions drama, its pretty intense stuff.
