@Mrowsey anything ?
@marinersfan13 My financial aid tab says that as well. I wouldn’t look to much into it (as much as I want to hope it’s a good sign). They could have replaced it since the transfer merit scholarships have already been distributed-- which is what the old message was about.
@poisonx Congrats!! I told you you’d get in
@marinersfan13 ME TOO!! I don’t want to get my hope up but i know that a couple of people got a finical aid email or something before, getting there official acceptance. But yeah I just checked after reading and I saw that as well.
Congrats to all that got in!
@Shortstop3 Thank you! I posted it here http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/18536469/#Comment_18536469 if you want to see my stats.
@jucery13 You’re next buddy. I know it ![]()
I honestly had my doubts because I only finished Business Calculus and I only took one class in the Spring semester and my EC’s aren’t that strong but I guess USC saw something ![]()
@poisonx I wonder if your acceptance package has crossed the Pacific Ocean yet?? ( I recall you said you where from Hawaii)
Also does you financial aid tab say the following:
We have received all required documents. Your financial aid application is currently in review.
Please note: We will notify you if additional documents are required throughout the review process.
Financial Aid Awards are usually available 3 - 5 business days after all required documents have been received.
Cause before today mine said:
We have received all required documents. Your financial aid application is currently in review.
Please note: We will notify you if additional documents are required throughout the review process.
Im trying to see if my theory is true so i need to ask someone that has been accepted and someone that has been rejected.
@stevenjp Hey I saw you were rejected, and I’m trying to formulate a theory lol. I was wondering if you financial aid tab states
We have received all required documents. Your financial aid application is currently in review.
Please note: We will notify you if additional documents are required throughout the review process.

Thanks
@jucery13 Wish I could help. I didn’t submit my parent’s tax info so mine is saying I’m missing required information. Lol.
@poisonx I don’t want to be the crazy conspiracy theorist but I honestly think that is a sign of if your in or not, was reading the thread , and about 4 people got asked for additional info, 1 day before there acceptance, I can’t be asked for additional info, since for some reason I was chosen in the very beginning to submit all tax info to USC like actual scans of the tax return.
Anyways you don’t have to worry about that lol your in!! Hopefully I can join you at Marshall! What are you thinking for housing?
@jucery13 I have it too but I’m not trying to think much of it
@collegebeans lol same, I’m just trying to create a theory lol. for the future applicants of SC. But heres the way I think, why in the world would they ask for more info, or state that financial aid decisions will be made in 3-5 days, if we weren’t accepted. It’s just a waste of time an effort for USC to calculate finical aid for rejected applicants, it would triple the workload. Let’s hope for the best!
@jucery13 I think it could definitely mean something. For sure they are doing some work on your application since it updated.
I have not thought of where to stay yet. I never actually thought I would get this far lol. But I guess now is the time to think about it. I am rooting for you! Add me on Facebook once you join the admitted group!
@poisonx thats a big move for you to huh from Hawaii to Cali. Quick question, are your bored of Hawaii? Everybody always loves Hawaii, they even claim it to be paradise, but does it get boring after a while? Cause I remember I wanted to go to UH in Manoa, just because it was in Hawaii lol.
@jucery13 I am so bored of Hawaii. It’s a great place, don’t get me wrong but after living here for so long it becomes mundane. Still home for me though. Just looking for a change of pace. UH Mānoa is a great university. The students body is just much more relaxed and laid back, compared to USC I think. I wanted something a bit more rigorous. But the school is situated close to the beach so you can’t go wrong with that.
@jucery13 My financial aid tab says that too, but I never got an SGR or anything. My restrictions haven’t even update yet, so I don’t know what to make of it either.
So far we all have it. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t mean anything, they just replaced the message that mentioned transfer scholarships. I’m not saying it’s good or bad, I just don’t think it’s an indication of acceptance.
@zettasyntax Today ? or has it been like that for a while?
Also I’m pretty sure your in dude(I am assuming your a dude, if your not my bad) you have, excellent stats , and you are reapplying after last year, which means you are a fighter! True trojan right there!
@shortstop3 you had a message talking about scholarships? I had no such thing lol. and i submitted before the feb 1st.
Hello everyone I’m an international transfer applicant from HK~ My name is Haru !!
I’m an Annenberg applicant.
I’ve been lurking for a very long time and I just decided to join the thread. There’s still no reply and I can’t get access to oasis neither.
Well I guess I’m going to be rejected and it’s already June 1 here in my region!!
I’m so worried now… Actually my official ielts result just arrived on Friday and I called the admission office, which they said that the files are in and my application was finally completed.
I really hope to join everyone in USC, well but I guess it’s rather hard for an international applicant like me…
I’m losing hope now and the long wait is killing me.
I just can’t concentrate on anything and keep waiting for the time to pass. Why do USC need such a long time to reject me…?
