You know, I’m really envy of all of you!!!
The admission office just emailed me and writing this:
“You should receive your decision notification via email within the next 3-5 days.”
Has anyone receive the decision by email? As I saw everyone got a mail or a portal update… Or because I live overseas so it’s a special case?
I’m losing hope as day passes by, as it doesn’t seems to accept student at this stage( no SGR no oasis)
And I’m just wondering why they need such a long time to reject me…
For admitted students, do we really have to take the Math and Chem placement tests?
@zettasyntax That’s a little reassuring, but if I get a July SGR, does that mean I’m only going to be admitted in Spring? Is there any chance (even though I still haven’t gotten anything from them) that I could be admitted Fall 2015?
@kawaiiharu I haven’t received that email, it’s probably because you are international. Are you an incoming junior? If so SGR aren’t necessary for a decision. Don’t lose hope yet, you still have a chance 
@elmhsstudent You probably would be admitted for Spring, but it’s not impossible to get in for Fall. It’s pretty much luck, A guy heard back mid-July and he got in for Fall and he also happened to be a Marshall student. The majority who heard back that late were spring admits, but I wonder what USC goes by to admit those select few for Fall instead. I’m sorry, but it just seems rather random 
@zettasyntax Hopefully it just has to do with the major and how much room there is… I applied under architecture and I don’t think as many people apply to that as a transfer as do Viterbi or Marshall. Hopefully I have a chance for fall ):

@collegebeans Mine has that also! Can anyone else check their financial aid to see what has changed? Mine requires an “ability to benefit verification” requirement needed.
@kawaiiharu You can still be admitted, but USC will only take up to 64 units from another college. They require an additional 64 units to be completed at USC. So basically you would be considered a junior again. Here is some info from their website about it.
"Transfer Unit Limitations
A student may earn a maximum of 64 units of credit toward a bachelor’s degree from other accredited institutions. Students will receive only subject credit for work completed in excess of the unit limitations.
Students may satisfy the requirements for GE Categories I, II, III or V with transfer coursework completed before the student has enrolled at USC, but no transfer credit will satisfy the requirements for Categories IV or VI. The first semester of the writing requirement may also be satisfied with transfer coursework, if it is completed before the student has transferred to USC."

Hey guys I just got my golden taco today!!! It’s dated June 2nd and I live 20 min from USC. Just to let you guys know, 2 days prior I received the request to fill out the eligibility to benefit form for financial aid!!! My stars report was filled out shortly after as well.
PPL who were admitted for spring, it says in the packet, to basically not bug them about moving to fall, they will move you if they have room, which basically means no, your going in the spring.
@waitlistsucks Did you ever receive anything in the lines of “ability to benefit verification” from financial aid? Congrats btw!

@collegebeans yes, the form I had to fill out for FA was similar/exact to what youre describing. @shortstop3 I think so after that notice came in for more info my oasis updated with a restrictions change and a completed STARS report.
@waitlistsucks awesome thank you! I don’t have access to oasis but that’s reassuring. Were you able to complete the form or no? When I click on it, it just goes to “students FAQ - admitted”
@shortstop3 My financial aid hasn’t updated at all, so maybe the fact that it changed is definitely a good sign for you if that’s the trend of recently accepted people
