yea i SIRed to UCSD, but im waiting on this and UCLA (waitlisted) as well. If i end up with a 4.0 this semester then im going to stay for another year since my gpa and major pre reqs will be completed prior to applications

@elmhsstudent I tried calling the admissions office and the lady I spoke with said all decisions were made for non-SGr people on June 1st and that they were mailed out. I still find that funny since I’m so close to them. I also was able to get in touch with my admissions counselor afterward and he said June 1st was just a “rough deadline” and that other applicants would still hear in the upcoming weeks. I didn’t think that was the case for people that didn’t get an SGR.
@jucery13 Hey there, congrats! Sucks about the spring though. I didn’t know they offered spring admission when it was still June! I thought that was for all the July SGR peeps.
Just got the acceptance packet! I applied to Marshall but got accepted as undecided, my second choice. I got a SGR on May 5th and the date on the letter was May 30th. I’m a sophomore applicant with a 3.73 GPA. Good luck to the rest of you!

Maybe I got accepted for spring 2016 because I got accepted to Marshall. Also since you were around the 2014 USC Transfer thread do you recall anybody being moved up for Fall Admission, after being accepted for Spring.

@jucery13 I hope so! I’m not as optimistic as I usually am since I just find it so odd that they’re taking long with me and I don’t even have a pending SGR.
Marshall does seem to be the most popular school that people apply to; I remember a lot of Marshall applicants from last year. Hmm, I’m not sure if I recall that happening. I remember some girl saying she was really mad and that she wanted to be moved to the fall, but I have no idea if she was successful in that. Sorry I don’t remember much about this particular situation

I am still working for my finals, and wish I can get my spring grades soon and submit them to USC. Are Marshall applicants more likely to get spring admission?

I haven’t heard back yet from USC, but the people in the Admissions Office told me that a “decision was made on June 1st and was sent to your address.” I already checked the mail, and nothing again–but I’m a little anxious. Were there any acceptance letters dated on June 1st?
@FragrantGreenTea My admission decision was dated June 2nd, I live in LA country though.
I called admissions yesterday and they said my decision was mailed on June 1st and my letter should be here on Thursday, I live about 2 hours from the school so Im not sure if its a bad sign that it takes 3 days to get here. Anyone else in the same situation?
@jucery13 I heard acceptances are priority and rejections are first class. That could be why you got your decision so soon Congrats!!!

I got a request for verification of information from financial aid in my portal… when I click on the link it sends me to the FAQ for admitted students? I don’t know what to think right now lol
