Has anyone received their financial aid packages and doesn’t mind saying how much they got? I should be hearing back about mine soon but I’m worried that I won’t get a good enough package to go. 
@Mick96 Download an app on your phone called CamScanner, take a photo of the particular portion of your transcript that includes your spring course work–also include your name and school information (do not just take a photo of the grades, usually the schools and your information are right above the coursework). Once you take a good photo, it will turn it into a PDF file (you will be able to preview it). Save it to your phones’ photo album, email it to yourself and then download the PDF from your email to your computer. Head over to the youSC website, and upload the transcript.

Yesterday I got my letter in the mail. ACCEPTED! But for spring admit lol. Better than a rejection I suppose.

@lorathefora Was end of April shortly after you first submitted your FAFSA? I submitted my FAFSA shortly after I applied for admission and they did ask for a bunch of additional documentation at that time. This would have been in early March, probably. After I submitted what they asked for then, the Financial Aid Section of the portal was showing “in review” for weeks, until last week when it changed to “action required” and it asked for parents’ W2s. So if you just applied for aid sometime in April and they asked for some follow up information then, it may not mean much, hard to say. Good luck!
Is it possible to still be admitted for the fall?
@Mick96 Definitely! In last years thread, lots of people were admitted for fall and they didn’t hear until July. Think about it this way: people that are accepted now have two weeks to commit and if they don’t choose usc, spots open up for other applicants.

@trnsfrstdnt I think I read on this thread about someone last year who got an acceptance before sending in spring grades…it should be somewhere in the 285 pages. LOL.
yea i read that too! so i was just curious if anyone this year received their decision letter! my spring grades wont be available until next week and so the wait is just killing me
Got accepted to Marshal for Spring 2016!! Is there anyway I can appeal to get in for Fall ?
@trnsfrstdnt yeah my spring semester ends next week as well 
more waiting for us. It sucks tho cause if I don’t get into USC, I’m going to UCI…so I have to prepare for that and figure out stuff like housing and whatnot for UCI while waiting. -__-
