Official USC 2015 Transfer Thread

Hi could you please add me too?!

Any way you could add me too, please?!

Can you add me please? Facebook name is Kaylie grace midtling

Has anyone on TTP been denied yet??

@jucery13 mine updated a week and two days after I received my acceptance package in the mail.

Is anyone at this point receiving fall admission? Or is it all spring

@dhailey I really thing it depends on you major, if you applied for marshall or annenberg then more then likely spring … You never know though anything is possible.

@Shortstop3 Hi Shortstop3, can you accept me to the facebook page. My name is Fady Ebeid

@xfertoxfer It was Art and then I couldn’t submit it until now because the grades weren’t finalized.

I submitted an unofficial transcript on You.usc.edu but I requested an official transcript to be sent to admissions office when grades were ready. Is that okay?

@dhailey I received my digital letter of acceptance for the fall semester on Sunday, so I would say yes, people are still being accepted into the fall semester.

@febe94 are you by any chance Arab?

@batusa thanks for sharing. What’s your major and stats?

@rosyme yeah i hope that should be okay! cause I did the same as well lol

is that the email you guys were talking about, regarding a “good sign” for acceptance? or is it just a basic email they send out to everyone?

@dhailey It’s no problem! :slight_smile:

I applied to Annenberg as I’m a journalism major, but I was placed in Dornsife. The admissions counselor called me and said she wanted to give me a seat but she couldn’t place me in Annenberg because they only accept people who have finished all their GE’s and that it’s almost impossible to be an international transfer student and have finished all the required GE’s. But she said I could do an internal transfer. My current GPA is 3.96, and I’ve completed 60+ credits, so I’ll be entering USC as a Junior.

For those who submitted their spring grades, how long did it take to hear back or to have some notification that they received your grades?

@rosyme I turned mine in on June 1st . I did it in person and have them an official transcript. It was confirmed they received them after 1 full day, and I’m still waiting on a final decision

@batusa congrats on your acceptance!! I’m also an annenberg hopeful but people last year for sure got accepted into annenberg for journalismm without finishing all of the prerequisites, what exactly did you counselor mean by that??

@jch718 What’s your major? I hope we don’t have to wait too long. The wait is killing me.

@xfertoxfer it depends what they asked in the financial aid section. If you see “ability to benefit” then you’re in.

Does anyone know if it’s possible for transfers to get housing in dorms or is it JUST for freshman? Thanks!
