@hope2fighton @mochibbycake My portal changed and says I have a new communication from USC, but for some reason it’s freezing when I log in. Is the new communication good or bad?
@soccerboy619 There was a notice that there were some updates to occur between 12am-2am. Perhaps it’s a bug? Something similar happened to me, except when I login to my portal I no longer have all the bullet point options as before. Employees in the admissions and financial aid offices have been friendly in my experience, I’m sure if you call they can assist you.
@BeigeCardigan Thanks so much for the info! So sorry I’ve been posting all over this page. Just getting anxious as it comes down to the wire. When I finally get a response, I’ll update you all. They’re currently in a meeting apparently and nobody picked the phone up
@soccerboy619 For what it’s worth my portal says the same thing this morning. When I choose “Reply to communication from USC” my USC ID is not recognized on the next page. STARS report is still there and USC ID works there. I am thinking it is a glitch from the overnight maintenance too.
Have you tried logging in to OASIS? Do you have a USC ID? I have one from my first undergrad app last year and it has stayed the same I think that is why I have been able to login to OASIS and even start a housing application without getting accepted.
@hope2fighton Yes to all of your questions! I have no idea what OASIS is, but i’ll try to figure it out! I have applied before also, and things have stayed the same. I will check out oasis. Thanks so much!
I am posting on behalf of my friend who wants to transfer to USC as a comp sci major or econ major! what are the requirements for USC computer science? GPA ?
@soccerboy619 Let me see if I remember this correctly. Google OASIS USC. The first link should be USC OASIS login. Use your USC ID. I think the initial password is your birthdate but I forget what format mmddyy or mmddyyyy or yymmdd. Once logged in you can change your password.
First check Restrictions. The date on that screen changes every time some change in status is updated, like a Spring Grade Request or a decision. Next, what you want to see is a STARS report showing your major, course of study etc. That, I am told and it makes sense, means acceptance.

@soccerboy619 Oh, I should also mention that some folks have not been able to logon to OASIS so if you cannot do not take that as discouraging news.
Has anyone who got accepted recently been able to register for orientation yet? I still can’t make my USC netid. I paid my deposit and my portal changed and is telling me to register for orientation 
@blahvetblah I’ve had the same trouble! It won’t let me activate my USC netID either. I was accepted Friday and I paid my deposit Sunday morning.
@provence97 I called and spoke to the IT support for it, and they said sometimes it takes almost a week for the first login to get setup.
Have you gotten your financial aid decision?

Has anyone else not received an acceptance/rejection notification yet? My portal still doesn’t say anything

Anybody who was admitted for Spring 2016, or has any knowledge/experience about entering USC in the spring/as a transfer should join the Facebook group “USC Transfer Spring 2016 Admit.” If there’s any ambiguity, it was created by some handsome guy called Ross . . .

@soccerboy619 oh really? I was getting a little worried cause it seemed like everyone was getting their results back besides me. Im not sure if I should like call the admissions office or not… and I have no idea if this is a good thing or bad, kinda freaking me out too
