I heard the last wave comes out this week?

Can’t believe the package came today - I had lost hope on this one!

What were your stats like and which school did you apply to?

Letters, Arts & Sciences. Very average SAT score but 3.9 GPA.

when u say average sat… what does that mean… i got a 1970 and i don’t know how that compares to some people who have been hearing recently

What is average on these forums?

someone answer coolwill/mainevent, please

i would say pretty average. 3.9 weighted 9-11, 2140 composite on SAT, pretty good extracurriculars, and good teacher recs. I really want you guys to all get in!! You’ve been giving me hope, and at the very least, something to distract me from the hell that is college decisions.

oh, nvm! lol

I think they do get some leeway in terms of SAT scores because of differences in systems/English not being a first language in some cases…however, at the same time there is competition in other areas because more and more international students are applying.

these stats give me so much hope.

There is definitely leeway with GPA.

I mean, hello, I got in with a 3.5 UW (rank 25%), okay? For CC standards, it seems to be the lowest here. And no, I’m not an URM or with any unusual circumstance(s) :)

I hope so, cause I’m an URM with extenuating circumstances, and I’m freaking out over my measly 3.42UW and 3.86W. But, you can just never know with USC.

Lol, I got in as an ORM from a fairly ORL (over represented location - Hong Kong sends quite a few each year) with decent but not exceptional stats (by CC standards, at any rate)…dunno if it was my heavy involvement in band/orchestra that got me in :)

Yep I’m from same place as cynicalowl, and I know plenty of people who’ve gotten in with stats that CC would relegate to street cleaning =P I’m sure loads of you’ll get in, so best of luck!
